It’s my first time every write a comments, and I will try to be fair. The main reason I write this comments is because I been locked inside of the elevator for 20mins,and no one help show up, even though I call the emergency maintenance, they said they are on the way. Secondly, the reason I’m mad about it is because 4 hours ago, there were fire alarm goes on for the entire building already. So they should done their job to make sure everything else is safe. Unfortunately, they didn’t. I’m paying one of most expensive apartments in this town. This is not what I should be get. One more suggestion to the team. There should be a team that can answer questions for the residents in 11 E, instead every time people needs to go to 1E. You don’t want residents to help each other, and you don’t have the availability to help your community. I been live in this building since beginning. I left three star only for the hard work staff you guys have, they are the people who do the work to help the residents here. But the residents here deserve better.

The apartment is fine, unless you value your rights to quiet enjoyment and to have a reasonable opportunity to sleep. The traffic noise, especially the motorcycles, trucks, and sirens, isn’t unexpected since the building is on the busiest street in town. Three nights a week you can enjoy a persistent stream of high decibel dance music straight from the bar next door that comes through the apartment window directly into your skull from about 4 pm until 1 am. They leave the doors to this fine establishment wide open to help ensure you can enjoy their music for free. This is superimposed on the generators of the street food trucks that pull up in the parking lot directly outside the apartment building. As an added bonus the patrons from the bar volunteer to wash the bank just outside the apartments by urinating on it. Sometimes if you’re lucky they will gather in the parking lot outside your window and shout their newly discovered wisdom and profundities up to you free of charge. You might think you would have some peace and quiet from 1 to 7 am when the leaf blowers and other extra high decibel maintenance equipment fire up, but the building itself is full of intermittent mysterious noises that appear to be vibrations in the plumbing and/or hvac ductwork. Of course each unit is equipped with a heavy duty hydraulic door closer so you receive a resounding thud each time your neighbors come and go, just in case you want to keep tabs on them. Early morning dumpster banging practice also occurs in the parking lot. Otherwise the place is fine, and the other residents are quiet and respectful.

I don’t move in until this weekend but I’m very excited to do so. I first inquired in June for their affordable housing and they have been very responsive and helpful each step along the way. Cameron especially was patient with me during the application for affordable housing and RAFT. When a miscommunication came up regarding the apartment being furnished, he went above and beyond and spoke about it with his supervisors and agreed to remove the furniture as a good gesture. I can already tell they truly care for their tenants and want to make living here the best experience possible. Thank you to the whole 11 East Pleasant team for making this a smooth experience.
