All in all, I am pretty happy I chose to live here for three years (sophomore to senior year at Iowa State). The proximity to campus is really nice for both bussing and walking, while also being really close to a Hyvee for groceries and now a Casey’s for gas and pizza. The maintenance people are some of my favorites I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting: super duper friendly and pretty quick to respond to work orders. The clubhouse staff is also kind. The clubhouse itself is a nice place to meet up and study, although a little underwhelming after a while. The fitness center is nice and convenient, although leg day there isn’t all that great (the machine for leg extensions/curls is not the best for either). Some downsides are that the cost isn’t cheap— although not the worst— and that the events that are planned for residents are often poorly communicated, last minute, or randomly discarded despite continuing to be on the monthly calendar. EDIT: nvm, they just charged me the move out fee. One that me and my roommates each got was a $100 charge and the only explanation was a photo of empty kitchen drawers. They also found it necessary to buy a new couch, charged us, but didn’t find it necessary to tell us and give us the old one. Instead it went to the dumpster. So no recycling or allowing us to sell it for better end finances. 1.5/5 would not recommend (although the maintenance crew are still great, all the hassle is not worth the price)

Julian worked on my apartment and he did amazing. Super nice guy and worked really fast! Maintenance is always super quick when we put requests in!

Decent apartment until you try to move out without going into generational debt. They charged outrageous fees for anything they could. Charged us for all new furniture, on top of countless other things, when it was in identical condition as move-in (guarantee they wouldn't even replace the furniture with the fee funds anyway). Luckily I had taken pictures of absolutely everything when I moved in and made it out only owing 50$.

I’ve lived at the point for 2 years now and it’s a really nice college apartment and I always loved the fact that it’s furnished. I will be moving out because the rent prices are increasing too much though. I enjoy the small pool and our own washer and dryer plus dishwasher. They charged us a large fee for moving units last summer during move out time which sort of ruined the purpose of us moving to a unit where the rent wasn’t increasing as much. They do a lot of events and have a nice gym and tanning bed, and the apartment itself is nice though, but very thin walls.

My cousin and friends lived here for a year, it was fine. The maintenance was lazy came to “fix” the problem but never fixed anything. The biggest problem is moving out. They go through the whole apartment and charge you $1000, after you fully deep clean. They charged $150 for a 1 inch paint mark that was already there, that they probably made. They will end up using the same couch anyways. Everything they charged them for they put maintenance request in for and was supposedly fixed, but still got charged. They are only looking to screw you over when you move in to this POS. The place is small and you can hear everything that goes on in the hallways. Would not recommend this place to anyone.
