I lived here for 3 out of my 4 years of college and it was complete hell. The rent is completely overpriced and all amenities are always broken. The community fridge worked for a good 3 months during my whole time living there. During a winter break the first floor flooded and we were never notified, we had to come back to our room with industrial fans everywhere, holes in our roof, and our stuff moved all over the place. While trying to get in contact with someone who could help clear up things you are met with very rude people answering the phone. The only good thing about this place was their maintenance team, they were always so kind, communicated well, and fixed things. I would never recommend this place to anyone especially when there are better options close to campus. There are horror stories everyone so make sure you do your research before living here.

We had an excellent experience touring Casas Del Rio with Omar! From the moment we arrived, he was professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely down to earth. He took the time to answer all of our questions without making us feel rushed, and his friendly personality made the tour enjoyable. The community itself is beautiful, and the staff we met were welcoming and helpful. The newly remodeled apartments are modern, clean, and have a safe, comfortable feel. We were especially impressed by all the amenities, including the game room, fitness center, and even complimentary Red Bull drinks for residents—a fun and unique perk! If you’re looking for a place near UNM, Casas Del Rio is definitely worth checking out. Omar did an outstanding job representing the community, and we highly recommend scheduling a tour with him. This place is incredible! The rooms are beautiful and spacious. There are tons of cupboards and four large drawers per bed. They really maximize the space. Each student gets his/her own sink and bathroom counter space. The amenities like the fitness center, free laundry, and game room are incredible. Logan and Abi were incredible tour guides. They explained everything in detail. I highly recommend Casa Del Rio! am so excited for my son’s experience at UNM!

It is a nightmare dealing with the management or getting correct help. We have leased twice from them and it has been awful and a drain on your bank account with all the fees. Last one tried to pay a bill and could not get my browser to let me in, called asked to make a payment over the phone, said they return my call (didn't happen), now charged late fees. Heads up. Corporate is more forthcoming with correct or any information.

Jackie at Casas del Rio was amazing to work with! She was super friendly, answered all of our questions clearly, and made sure we felt confident about everything. She really took the time to clear up any doubts we had and made the whole process smooth and easy. Highly recommend working with her!
