Student Accommodation near London College Of Management Studies

London College of Management Studies began trading in the early 2000s as a private education provider in Kenton. The historical material records courses in business administration, accounting, computing and management. It also refers to postgraduate management routes, corporate training and links with Anglia Ruskin University for selected qualifications. These details describe the former college and do not represent current courses.

Companies House incorporated London College of Management Studies Limited on 12 December 2003. The company dissolved on 22 August 2014. The official record gives Brent House, 214 Kenton Road, Harrow, HA3 8BT as the registered office.

The closure changes the housing question completely. No new student needs a room for LCMS. The useful information now concerns the Kenton location and the present rental market nearby.

Kenton remains a residential part of north-west London with local shops, bus routes and a station served by the Bakerloo line and London Overground.

Kenton has quieter streets, local shops and a mainly residential character. Harrow adds more cafés, restaurants, shopping and public services.

Wembley Park has a larger entertainment district. Residents can reach London Designer Outlet, supermarkets, restaurants and the public spaces around Wembley Stadium without travelling into central London.

Event days change the neighbourhood. Concerts and football matches bring heavier pedestrian traffic, crowded stations and evening noise.

Managed student buildings also organise resident events and include study rooms, gyms or lounges. These facilities can help someone new to London meet other residents. They should not justify a room with an unsuitable price or difficult campus route.

Students who prefer a calmer home may find Kenton, South Kenton or Harrow more comfortable than Wembley Park.

Kenton

Kenton gives the former Brent House address the shortest local route. The neighbourhood feels quieter than Wembley Park and mainly contains family houses, converted flats and small apartment buildings.

A Kenton room can suit someone attending an active college in Harrow or another nearby district. Local shops cover groceries, pharmacies, cafés and takeaway food.

Managed student residences remain limited in the immediate neighbourhood. Students will find more rooms through private landlords, resident homeowners and conventional letting agents.

Private renting also requires a closer look at the bills. Ask about electricity, gas, water, internet, heating and laundry before signing. A low monthly rent can change considerably once the landlord adds those charges.

Kenton station serves the Bakerloo line and London Overground. These services connect the area with Harrow & Wealdstone, Wembley Central, Willesden Junction and central London.

Harrow And Northwick Park

Harrow has more shops, cafés and rental properties than Kenton. Harrow-on-the-Hill connects with the Metropolitan line, while Northwick Park and Kenton cover different parts of the same wider district.

A room near Harrow town centre can suit a student who needs regular access to several north-west London locations. Private landlords often request a UK guarantor, advance rent or evidence of income.

Northwick Park may appeal to healthcare students or anyone with commitments near the hospital. It also keeps Harrow and Kenton within a local bus or walking route, depending on the address.

South Kenton And Preston

South Kenton and Preston have residential streets, local shops and private houses. South Kenton connects with the Bakerloo line and London Overground. Preston Road uses the Metropolitan line.

This part of London often gives tenants more bedroom space than a compact Wembley studio. A shared house may also include a lounge, dining area or garden.

Compare the complete household cost before choosing. Energy, water, broadband and transport can remove much of the saving attached to a cheaper room.

Wembley Park

Wembley Park has the strongest managed student-housing market near Kenton. Current properties include Grand Felda House, Felda House, Wembley Barnard Point, Pavilion Court, Olympic Way and Scape Wembley.

Wembley Park station serves the Jubilee and Metropolitan lines. Students can travel towards Baker Street, Finchley Road and central London through direct services.

The neighbourhood also has supermarkets, restaurants, cafés, Wembley Stadium, OVO Arena and London Designer Outlet. Concert and match days bring larger crowds, road restrictions and more noise. Visit the street during an event evening when possible.

Wembley gives London College Of Management Studies accommodation the widest nearby choice of en-suites, studios and shorter contracts. The room will cost more than many private house shares, and the resident will still need a local connection towards Kenton.

Wembley Central

Wembley Central has Bakerloo line and London Overground services towards Kenton. It also has supermarkets, independent shops and a substantial private rental market.

A room near Wembley Central can create a more direct Kenton route than a property beside Wembley Park station. The two stations use different lines and occupy separate parts of Wembley.

Private flats around Wembley Central can cost less than new residences near the stadium. Most landlords exclude at least some household bills and prefer a full-year agreement.

Ealing

The original material includes Ealing because the area has several student residences. It should not form the first housing comparison for a Kenton address.

The Cube Ealing currently begins at £235 per week for a shared studio. Private studios cost considerably more. Current contracts include 27, 35, 44 and 51 weeks.

Ealing only makes sense when the student also needs frequent access to west London. A lower weekly price offers little value when the route to the active campus takes too long.

The following properties operate near Wembley or elsewhere in west London. None of them has a current connection with LCMS.

Property room tables support these entry rates, but availability can change once the least expensive category sells out.

The room format matters. The Cube’s £235 rate belongs to shared accommodation. Grand Felda House starts with a private bedroom and shared bathroom. Wembley Arthur House begins with a self-contained studio.

Grand Felda House confirms a 51-week total of £12,546 for its £246 private rooms. Wembley Barnard Point lists £13,668 for a 51-week en-suite at £268. Pavilion Court lists £13,770 for its £270 Classic En-suite.

Seven additional weeks cost £1,722 at £246 per week. At £365 per week, the same period adds £2,555.

A longer contract has value when the student remains in London for summer work, an internship or another course. It becomes unnecessary spending when the resident leaves after the final term.

Providers can also attach a higher weekly rate to short contracts. Ask for the total price covering the exact dates required.

Private Room With A Shared Bathroom

A private room gives one resident a bedroom while flatmates share the bathroom and kitchen.

Grand Felda House currently lists two- and three-bedroom apartments from £246 per week. Residents keep private bedrooms and share household facilities. The property includes several bills and has contracts ranging from short stays to 51 weeks.

This layout can keep London College Of Management Studies student accommodation London below the price of an en-suite or studio. Residents still need to agree on cleaning, bathroom use and kitchen storage.

En-Suite Room

An en-suite includes a private shower, toilet and basin. Residents share the kitchen with their flatmates.

Felda House starts en-suite rooms from £267. Wembley Barnard Point starts at £268, Pavilion Court at £270 and Olympic Way at £279 under current listings.

The private bathroom helps during busy mornings, but the kitchen still affects everyday life. Check the number of residents, ovens, refrigerator shelves and cupboards.

Studio

A studio combines the bedroom, bathroom and kitchenette within one private unit.

Current studio prices include £309 at Grand Felda House, £319 for a Bronze Studio at Felda House and £345 at Wembley Barnard Point. Olympic Way’s currently available studios begin much higher than its en-suite rooms.

Studios suit residents who value quiet and private cooking facilities. The additional privacy can add several thousand pounds to the annual rent.

Shared Studio

A shared studio places two residents in one self-contained unit.

The Cube Ealing uses this arrangement for its lowest-priced rooms. Both residents share the kitchen, bathroom and sleeping space.

Discuss study hours, calls, guests, cleaning and food storage before accepting the room. The saving loses its value when the living arrangement feels uncomfortable.

Private House Share

Kenton, Harrow, South Kenton and Wembley Central have private bedrooms in houses and flats.

A house share can include a larger kitchen, lounge and garden. Tenants usually take greater responsibility for bills, cleaning and maintenance.

Inspect the actual bedroom and communal rooms. Check heating, locks, damp, kitchen storage and bathroom access before paying a deposit.

Grand Felda House

Grand Felda House occupies Empire Way near Wembley Park.

Private bedrooms currently begin at £246 per week, en-suites at £280 and studios at £309. Contract choices range from nine to 51 weeks. Electricity, gas, Wi-Fi and contents insurance form part of the advertised rent.

The entry room keeps the rent lower through a shared bathroom. A 51-week private room costs £12,546. The £280 en-suite reaches £14,280 over the same period.

Recent resident feedback on the current listing mentions building work and noise continuing into 2026. Ask for the latest construction information and the room’s position before signing.

Felda House

Felda House occupies North End Road near Wembley Park station.

Current en-suite rooms begin at £267 per week. Studio categories start from £319. The property lists four-, 33-, 48- and 51-week contracts.

The four-week agreements may help short-course or late-start students. The exact weekly rate can change with the contract, so request a written quote for the required period.

Wembley Barnard Point

Wembley Barnard Point starts en-suite rooms from £268 per week.

The building currently lists contracts covering seven, 14, 17, 24, 37, 44 and 51 weeks. Studios begin from £345. Bills, Wi-Fi and communal facilities form part of the advertised rent.

The shorter contracts give visiting students and placement learners more control over their annual payment.

Pavilion Court

Pavilion Court begins at £270 per week for a Classic En-suite.

The property currently lists 44- and 51-week agreements. A 51-week Classic En-suite costs £13,770. Higher en-suite and studio categories cost more.

The contract lengths suit students who plan to remain in London for most of the academic year. They give less flexibility to someone attending for one term.

Olympic Way

Olympic Way currently begins at £279 per week for an en-suite.

The property lists agreements from 11 to 51 weeks. Rent includes regular utilities, Wi-Fi, study rooms, a gym and communal areas. Current available studios begin near £400 per week.

The address keeps Wembley Park station nearby. Residents still need a local connection towards Kenton.

The Cube Ealing has the lowest managed rate in this comparison, but its £235 room uses a shared studio and creates a longer trip to Kenton. Grand Felda House has the lowest current Wembley entry price at £246 per week.

A sensible budget comparison should place these three choices together:

  1. A private room in Kenton or Harrow
  2. A managed Wembley room with bills included
  3. Continued travel from the current home

A private room at £210 per week over 52 weeks costs £10,920 before bills. Grand Felda House costs £12,546 over 51 weeks with several utilities included.

The difference becomes smaller after the house-share tenant adds gas, electricity, water, internet and local transport.

Rooms in Waterloo, Camberwell or Greenwich can appear cheap during a sale, but they require a long trip to north-west London. The lower rent rarely compensates for that routine.

Weekly Student Budget

A weekly plan outside rent may look like this:

Expense

Planning Range

Groceries

£40–£65

Local transport

£15–£40

Utilities in a private house

£15–£35

Laundry

£5–£10

Mobile phone

£3–£8

Course materials

£5–£25

Social plans

£15–£40

Household purchases

£5–£12

Managed residences normally include standard utilities and Wi-Fi. Private tenants need written confirmation of every bill.

Eligible students can apply for an 18+ Student Oyster photocard through a registered institution. The card gives 30% off adult-rate Travelcards and Bus & Tram Pass season tickets. It does not reduce every ordinary pay-as-you-go trip by 30%.

Student visa applicants studying in London currently need to show £1,529 per month for up to nine months unless an exemption applies. A closed institution cannot issue a valid current offer or sponsor a Student visa, so applicants must follow the requirements attached to their recognised sponsor.

Kenton Station

Kenton station serves the Bakerloo line and London Overground. These services connect the area with Wembley Central, Willesden Junction and central London.

The station helps residents who live along the same rail corridor. Wembley Park uses different lines, so its trip to Kenton often requires a bus or interchange.

Wembley Park Station

Wembley Park serves the Jubilee and Metropolitan lines.

The station gives residents direct access towards Baker Street and central London. It does not create a direct one-stop trip to Kenton.

Harrow-On-The-Hill

Harrow-on-the-Hill serves the Metropolitan line and the main Harrow shopping district.

A Harrow room may suit someone who attends different north-west London sites during the week. The local route to Kenton changes with the property address.

Buses

Local buses connect Kenton with Harrow, Wembley and neighbouring residential areas. TfL lists services from Kenton station towards Harrow and nearby stops.

Test the route during the morning. Traffic can turn a short off-peak trip into a much longer commute.

Cycling

Cycling can work from Harrow, Wembley Central, South Kenton and Northwick Park.

Check secure storage at home and at the active college. Main roads carry heavy traffic, so review quieter streets before relying on a bicycle every day.
