One of the most disappointing and unsafe accommodation experiences I have ever had. I am extremely disappointed with Trinity View. The lift has felt unsafe during use. It shook violently and suddenly moved upwards very quickly, which was frightening and made me seriously concerned about safety. This issue should be inspected urgently. Security is an even bigger concern. Although this is supposed to be student accommodation, there seem to be people who are not students living in or regularly accessing the building. This has seriously affected the living experience and has made the environment feel unsafe for students. The worst incident I experienced was when I returned from holiday and found that a stranger appeared to have been staying in my room. My cash and electronic devices were stolen, and the person had even put their clothes into my washing machine. I reported the matter to the police, but the experience was extremely distressing, and my cash loss was not compensated. It is shocking that something like this could happen in a managed student accommodation. There have also been unknown people coming directly to residents’ doors to sell or promote things. This is completely unacceptable, especially after such a serious security incident. Residents should not have to worry about strangers entering the building, knocking on doors, or accessing private rooms. Overall, I am deeply disappointed with the management, security, and service quality at Trinity View. The building access control, resident safety measures, and overall management need serious improvement. I would not recommend this accommodation to students who care about safety, privacy, and a stable living environment.

Stayed in a shared flat for one year. It had everything you’d need, including laundry machine and dishwasher. Location is close to both the train station and city centre. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I’ve spent a lot of time with my friends playing table football in the common area, watching movies in the cinema room and cooking in the shared kitchen. If compared to many of the other dorms in and around Coventry/Warwick University, it is definitely worth its price

Unsafe elevator. Got an email today from the accommodation saying that the elevator was working normally and is safe. However again today the elevator jolted violently on the 7/8th floor. At least one of the elevators are out for months and for two days both were out. For a building that has 20 floors this is not acceptable. In addition the staff are either clueless or rude especially the older looking blonde one who is very authoritative without any reason when she doesn’t need to be. There is also a lack of overnight security for a place that’s supposed to be monitored 24/7.

Experience of staying at Trinity View in two room types. I stayed in the Standard Studio for a year. Then, I moved to a Classic Ensuite. Review of Standard Studio: Pros: -Room is decently insulated. It won’t get hot in the summer if you close the windows during the day. -Each room has its own Vent-Axia ventilation system integrated with the cooker hood. This means you get fresh air inside all the time without losing the heat. Though they lock it up so you can’t really change the settings on the ventilation system. -FREE washer dryer in every room -I think the Standard Studio might be the most ideal studio room. This room type has no neighbors (i.e you’ll be surrounded by corridors and a smoke shaft, however, this room type is adjacent to the elevators so you will hear the elevator ‘ding-ding’ from time to time). The doors to studio rooms have drop seal and are moderately soundproof. Cons: -Rooms have limited natural lighting -Ceiling height is probably at minimum code requirement (2.1-2.3m), not ideal -Heating unreliable (same problem in every room type because the heater has a timer and will switch off after a couple of minutes) -Hobs are equipped with a fire safety switch, meaning they will switch off after exactly 15 mins. If you plan to cook something unattended, you can’t. Review of Classic Ensuite: Pros: -FREE dishwasher and washer/dryer in every flat -Room equipped with ventilation system, bringing in fresh air. However, since the system is shared by the entire flat, it is less effective than the ones in the studio. -Really affordable Cons: -Demising walls are super thin. You can hear neighbors speaking on the phone and cabinet doors closing. You can even hear the toilet flushing next door 😭 -Doors have no drop seals and are not soundproof. -Some parts in the rooms are missing. For example, the dishwasher is missing the utensils basket and rack stop clip, the shower is missing a drain cover, etc… But for £100 a week bills included, this is WAY better than mouldy old houses around coventry.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience here. The building management is completely negligent when it comes to maintenance and resident comfort. First, one of the elevators was out of service for several months, leaving all residents to rely on just one elevator. It caused daily inconvenience and long waits, especially during peak hours. Now, the hot water system has failed—right in the middle of winter! It’s impossible to take a shower, and there has been no communication about when it will be fixed or any form of compensation for this unbearable situation. To make things worse, the front desk often closes before official closing time, making it useless when you actually need assistance. Unreliable and unprofessional. I do not recommend this apartment to anyone. Save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere.
