  • King's Cross St. Pancras (Circle, Piccadilly, Northern, Victoria, Metropolitan, Hammersmith & City lines, National Rail, Eurostar): Another major hub within a short walk northeast.
  • Russell Square (Piccadilly Line): A few minutes' walk south.
  • Goodge Street (Northern Line): A short walk west.

These stations provide rapid and direct routes to key areas across the city, including other educational institutions, rehearsal spaces, cultural hubs, and residential areas.

Numerous bus routes also operate in the vicinity of The Place, running along Euston Road, Woburn Place, and Tottenham Court Road, offering convenient surface-level connections to different parts of central and greater London.

Eligible full-time students (18+) at LCDS, as part of the Conservatoire for Dance and Drama (CDD), can apply for the 18+ Student Oyster photocard. This provides 30% off adult-rate Travelcards and Bus & Tram Passes, making daily commutes and city-wide exploration significantly more affordable. Application involves online registration via the TfL website, uploading a digital photo, and the CDD/LCDS confirming enrollment electronically. A non-refundable fee applies, and the photocard is collected from a nominated Tube station.
