I stayed here for around 10 months while studying at the University of Portsmouth. Overall, I had a good experience. The accommodation itself is decent and the location is convenient. My main issue was occasionally seeing silverfish, although this only happened a handful of times during my stay. The best part of living here was the staff. Tom and Jordan were always helpful, approachable and professional whenever I needed assistance. There were also two members of the night team who were consistently friendly and welcoming, although unfortunately I never learned their names. Overall, a positive experience and I’d like to thank the team for their support throughout my tenancy.

The staff are lovely and the accommodation is good, it’s just such a shame that Unite Students don’t communicate well. I joined Rosalind as part of my Masters having done 3 years at the university prior and I have never experienced such unorganised communication from Unite Students. While I was away on holiday they contacted us saying we had to move out of our flat into another one so they could do maintenance, but as I was unable to due to being away, ever since my personal belongings have been locked away and I’m unable to access my room. If I was refunded I wouldn’t have minded but I’m still paying for my room despite not even being able to access it and having to move back home, despite my belongings still being there! No wrong doing of the staff but this is the perfect example of unite students not communicating well enough.

Recently moved in and quite disappointed with the experience. I had previously accompanied a friend during her move-in at another Unite Students property, where the reception staff were extremely helpful, so I expected something similar here. Unfortunately, the reception staff here were not cooperative. My room was not properly cleaned and needed a few repairs, but when I went to report this, the staff member seemed uninterested and kept directing me to use the app instead of offering any help. It also doesn’t feel worth the price. The room facilities are quite limited, especially compared to another university accommodation I stayed in before, which was more affordable and came with better in-room supplies. Overall, not a great experience so far. This has been quite underwhelming.

Tom was brilliant (even though he initially thought I was the post lady😂). Moving my son back in after the Easter break, the lift was being serviced so out of action. Tom carried two very heavy bags up to the 6th floor for us. What a star!!!
