Best experience in a student accommodation ever. I’m in my final year of uni, and I’ve been moving between different student accommodations every year, but this is by far the best one I’ve had. The room is nice, the location is amazing, and the social areas are great for both studying and socialising. The events the accommodation holds add a real sense of community to the place, and the staff are all helpful, friendly and kind. This is my 3rd year in Newcastle. For the past 2 years, I’ve struggled to settle in because I haven’t found that sense of community, whether at uni or in my previous accommodations. So I’d really love to thank everyone who works in this building: Laura, Karina, Stu, Claire, Millie, Beth, Katie, Monica, Roy Jordan, Ari, Rosie, Kamal, Gospel, and Gemma (who’s moved to Strawberry Place now) for the great vibe and for making this place feel like a home away from home, it’s also the place where I met a guy from Singapore, who is very nice and inclusive and quickly became one of my best friends in Newcastle, that wouldn’t be possible without the social events and opportunities this accommodation offers The missing star is for the cost. I booked in November 2024 to move in September 2025, thinking booking early would get me the best price. This is NOT the case with Vita Students. People who booked after me, or closer to the move-in date, pay significantly less than I do for the same room spec. My experience with [email protected] wasn’t ideal either. It doesn’t really feel like customer service, more like you’re negotiating with them every time you ask about anything, which is unusual for a student accommodation. Lastly, and this is very minor, the noise isolation could be improved, especially through the flat door, as I can clearly hear everything happening outside it.

Home away from home. The accommodation team members always made me feel like I was at home with family, and that really helped when I first moved into the accommodation and was homesick. Loved every minute of the start to the finish of my stay at this very fine establishment. Was really really lucky I made the right decision in my accommodation choice, and I promise you you won’t regret staying here ❤️

I love the space and the breakfast—every corner of the building is always neat and secure. The staff are truly amazing, especially Stu, who is always smiling and willing to help.

Vita student is a great place to stay whilst at university. Startbucks is around the corner and Coop chicken (halal) is amazing. you have access to the entire country via train as the station is just 2 mins away. Not that you would want to leave Vita Student as its the bestest place ever . There is a 24 hour gym access, bicycles to rent and large movie room. if you don't feel like studying you can go chill in the hub. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Oh and for the coffee lovers there is free coffee !!!

I have yet to book the accommodation and I'm still undecided, however the support from Faye Liu is unbelievable. I was in Newcastle for just 1 night and very last minute asked to see around westgate, around 4.45pm. She then did everything in her power to get me a viewing despite being a last minute request and awkward time she was able to get me a viewing for 5.40pm. It was 11/10 customer support and is a big reason why I am leaning heavily towards Vita westgate. This type of customer service was also matched by the reception staff who did the tour of the facilities (sorry but I didn't catch her name). Overall, even if I don't end up picking vita their newcastle team and specially westgate team has stood out as the perfect example of what customer service should be.
