I would not recommend staying here, from the first day moving in there was signs on doors on all the cupboards saying do not touch no place for me to put my stuff. Later on in the weeks the corridor and my bedroom stunk of weed and got to the point where my asthma got worse and irritated my skin causing me to have eczema again. I’ve sent email of my experience to the property manager and basically she was no help when I wanted to move room after having a screaming match in the kitchen ,which would have resulted in a physical fight from the individual with the issue if my boyfriend wasn’t there, which caused me to have severe anxiety and made my mental health worse. In my entire 51 week tendency I can count on my fingers how many times I have spent the night there. Property manger was dismissive, unreliable and had lack compassion for my situation.

It's a student accommodation. Rooms are big in size compared to other student accommodations around. Rates are affordable as well. Just 10mins walking to northumbria university. It's a good choice for students looking for bigger rooms. Although I hate the fire alarms here( especially in midnight) and also the wifi service is worst. *They market it as upto 100mbps and you don't even get 10mbps in reality*. You get a cinema room which never works perfectly(speaker connectivity issues) and the pool table is always broken. No gym or TT table here which is really disappointing. Bike parking is available for free. It's been 6 months I'm staying here and so far the experience is average. #studentaccomodation #newcastleupontyne

Very impressed by this gorgeously located student accommodation. Staff always respond promptly to my emails and are happy to help when needed. I would encourage any student to consider Mansion Tyne. I’m a doctoral student and have had no problems with any of the residents. The erratic tapping at 4am from the person above me can be forgiven. Whoever you are, please go to sleep. I’ll be renewing my contract; just look at my view!

I've had a great experience here - even the cheapest room is quite spacious, the shower is actually a normal size (if you've ever stayed in a student accom you know how tiny the showers usually are) and I've got a gorgeous view of the quayside from my room and the kitchen. The kitchen is also big and quite nice, even has a TV. There's laundry facilities and a study/social space onsite as well. Good distance from town, the quayside and the station all in one. Plus, the wardens who help with getting locked out and fire drills are really nice, especially the new one Rhys :)

Amazing accommodation, very spacious. However, the receptionists (Louisa and Colleen) are the most wonderful, most kind, caring people and they are always there to help. They’re so helpful and loving, they support me emotionally and physically when i’m not at my best and i can’t thank them enough.
