Update: I've made it to a 5-star review! I've stayed here throughout my whole Bachelors' degree in Newcastle University, which is 3 years. Throughout, I have enjoyed everything! Here are a few takeaways I have: 1) It's a 5-10 minute walk to the university, depending on how fast you walk, which makes it super convenient. 2) The stadium is nearby, but it's actually not at all loud. I'd suggest getting a room that's a bit far back if you want almost no noise at all! 3) The staff are super friendly, quick, and efficient. If you have a problem expect it to be done in the same day or the next morning, there's a portal where you can put the problem and they will send you an email if it's sorted while you're away! 4) Previously, I rated it 2-stars because of the washing machine problem issue I had. But, they actually changed it to a nice modern washing machine where it has an automatic detergent and softener that is provided. This is absolutely amazing 💗 5) Housekeeping is wonderful. You can choose from a bathroom clean to a kitchen clean or an overall clean. They make it spotless and amazing! 6) Use the Ethernet! It's super fast! 7) There is an insane amount of storage spaces (even a massive space under the bed for suitcases or any other things!) It makes me sad to be leaving this accommodation next month, it felt like a really nice and long hotel stay, but it was awesome. Thank you to all the Vita Student staff!

So, I had a stressful situation while moving out of Vita Student Strawberry Place. At the last day, I ordered what I thought was a suitcase from Amazon, but when it arrived, I realized I had accidentally ordered a suitcase cover instead With very little time left before my moveout, I wasn’t sure what to do. Thankfully, when I was whining about it in the main hall, Kevin came up to me and acted quickly, and managed to find a suitcase for me in no time. Thanks to his support, I was able to fit all my clothes and belongings, complete my moveout successfully, and avoid a lot of unnecessary stress. So thanks to him and many others, I had m positive experience in Vita Student Strawberry!

My entire experience at Vita Student has been nothing short of amazing. After living in about three different accommodations, I can say this has been the best one by far. I wanted to write this review because, when I was looking into moving here, I found that the reviews online didn’t really help me. So I hope this can be useful to at least one person. The Room : Let’s start with the room. I absolutely love mine. It’s cozy, convenient, and just perfect for student living. I’m in a Classic room, so it’s not even the biggest option, but it still comes with a microwave, oven, and even a dishwasher I think I got fortunate in having. Breakfast & Amenities: The breakfast here is great. I haven’t had it recently because of my busy schedule, but when I did, I really enjoyed it especially the muffins. There’s also coffee and a good variety of other options, which is so convenient to have. Staff : The staff at Vita are one of the standout features for me. They’re friendly, approachable, and always happy to help. I never feel intimidated asking questions. Whether it’s reception, housekeeping there are all nice People. Events : There are weekly events that you can book to attend. I haven’t really been to many of those but I was able to see the preparations for the events and it’s very nice to see the effort that goes into making it nice for the residents so that’s good also Housekeeping : Housekeeping is another great thing about here. I’m not the biggest fan of housekeeping not because the people doing it are bad or anything. I have just been taught from very young to keep my room clean MYSELF. However, if there’s one thing I really struggle with, it’s the strong smell of cigarettes in the walkway as some residents don’t seem to understand DON’T SMOKE IN YOUR ROOM. THIS frustrates me a lot because I’m already tired of people smoking in my face all day to come home and not have at least fresh air. Like pleaseeeee be considerate. That being said, I truly recommend Vita Student to anyone looking for student accommodation.

As a 27-year-old master’s student, I’ve lived at Vita Student Newcastle for nearly a year and wanted to share an honest and detailed review of the experience. First off, the location is unbeatable — it’s one of the closest accommodations to Newcastle University, making it perfect for students who want to be within walking distance of campus. I stayed in a studio flat, which is ideal for anyone who values privacy and independence. It comes with your own kitchen and bathroom, a high-quality SMEG electric hob and oven, and ssmart TV. The building itself feels modern, and the bathroom finishes are well done. Beds are average — not the most luxurious, but comfortable enough. One of the best things about living here was the consistent heating and hot water throughout the entire winter. Many of my friends in other accommodations had issues with this, but I never did. The maintenance team is responsive and professional. Every time I had a minor issue, it was fixed quickly. Special thanks to Tony, who was always helpful. The reception staff are respectful and understanding — I never had a negative experience with them. As someone who strongly values room privacy, I appreciated that this was acknowledged and respected. There is a bi-weekly cleaning service, but I didn’t use it. The cleaners are kind people, but as a mature student I preferred to clean my own space. Initially, cancelling the cleaning a few times led to a room check with photos — but once it was clear that I was maintaining the space well, there were no further concerns. Now, a few extra highlights that make Vita stand out: • Complimentary weekday breakfasts are a fantastic perk — a great way to start the day. • The on-site gym is fairly well equipped with a variety of machines and free weights (including dumbbells), and it’s rarely busy, which makes workouts easy and stress-free. • There are also recreation areas with air hockey, ping-pong, and a pool table, which are great for relaxing or socialising with friends. • The cinema room features a smart TV with YouTube access and screen-sharing capability — perfect for movie nights or streaming Netflix. • Wi-Fi has been stable and fast throughout my stay. On the downside: • Laundry prices have increased multiple times, which is frustrating. • Walls are quite thin, so if your neighbor is noisy, it can be bothersome. That said, management does respond to noise complaints and follows up with necessary action. Overall, I give Vita Student Newcastle a 4 out of 5. While it’s slightly more expensive than some other options, the unbeatable location, great facilities, privacy, and overall quality of service make it well worth considering — especially if you’re looking for a comfortable, self-contained living space close to university. I will update this review after completing my checkout process, but so far, so good — everything has gone smoothly.
