The shared apartment options include two-bedroom layouts, with prices beginning from £204 per week for the Classic Smaller 2 Bed Apartment and £217 per week for the Classic 2 Bed Apartment.
These rooms suit students who want their own bedroom but are happy to share some facilities with another resident. The arrangement can offer more interaction than a self-contained studio while still giving each student a private room.
Students who prefer to live independently can choose from a range of studios.
Prices begin at £215 per week for the Value Studio and extend through several Classic and Premium categories. Larger studios are also available, with Premium Bigger Studio options starting from £285 per week.
Some studio categories also offer a great view, giving students another feature to consider when comparing rooms.
The one-bedroom apartments provide a more private setup for students who want additional separation between their living and sleeping areas.
Prices start from £322 per week for the Classic 1 Bed Apartment and rise to £372 per week for the Premium 1 Bed Apartment – Great View.
These options cost more than the shared apartments and smaller studios, but they may suit students who place a higher value on having their own self-contained space.
The weekly fee for Claremont Place covers some of the key requirements students need after moving in.
The price of your stay includes:
Fast Wi-Fi
Electric current
Fully furnished accommodation provided.
Wi-Fi and power are included so students won’t have to get these set up separately before they arrive at campus.
With it being furnished, it means that when you get there, the main pieces of furniture are already in place, so you can focus on moving into the room, rather than buying large items before moving day.
Claremont Place has services that help with several elements of student life, from getting through assignments to staying active and moving around the city. The accommodation also contains several practical elements that help make everyday chores easier.
Claremont Place accommodations provide a study area, so students have somewhere to work without leaving their apartment.
The resort does not have dedicated study rooms, so students who want a different setting for study can also utilise university libraries around the facility. The property is accessed from Newcastle University’s Philip Robinson Library and Northumbria University’s library.
Having a study setup in your own room can be useful when you have an early lecture the following morning or need to work around your own schedule rather than library opening hours.
Residents have access to:
On-site gym
Having the gym within the building means students can fit exercise around lectures and coursework without making a separate trip across Newcastle.
It can also be useful for students who prefer shorter workouts between classes or want to exercise after returning home in the evening.
Claremont Place includes a few practical features that support daily routines.
Residents have access to:
Secure bike storage
Fully furnished accommodation
The secure bike storage is useful for students who cycle to university or around the city. With the accommodation already furnished, residents also have the main furniture in place from the beginning of their tenancy.

Residents have access to:
24-hour security
CCTV monitoring
Secure door entry
These measures help manage access to the building and provide additional support for students living at the property.

The Coach Lane Campus is approximately 4.43 miles away. Students attending this campus will have a longer journey, but the nearby Metro and bus network provides options for travelling across Newcastle.
The location can also work for students who need to move between different parts of the university during the week, particularly when classes, library sessions or other activities are not all based in one building.
Clearing can be a busy period for students who have only recently confirmed their university place. Once an offer is accepted, accommodation becomes another decision that needs attention.
Students considering Claremont Place Newcastle through Clearing should check room availability as soon as their university place is confirmed. The property has several accommodation formats, so availability may differ between shared apartments, studios and one-bedroom apartments.
Checking early also gives you more time to compare the different room types and decide whether shared living or a private apartment works better for your budget and routine.
Room availability can change during the Clearing period, so students should confirm the current options and prices directly before making a decision.

Choosing accommodation usually comes down to how you prefer to spend your time when you're not in lectures. Some students enjoy sharing with other people, while others would rather have a studio or one-bedroom apartment where they can keep to themselves.
Claremont Place Newcastle gives you both options, with shared apartments at the lower end of the price range and several studio and one-bedroom categories for students who want more privacy.
The two-bedroom apartments give students a private bedroom while keeping some parts of the accommodation shared.
This can suit students who like having other people around without moving into a larger flatshare. You can cook and spend time with a flatmate while still having your own room to return to at the end of the day.
The studio and one-bedroom options are better suited to students who prefer a more independent setup.
Studios have their own kitchen and bathroom, while the one-bedroom apartments give you separate living and sleeping areas. Prices start from £215 per week for the Value Studio and £322 per week for the Classic 1 Bed Apartment.
Every room at Claremont Place comes furnished.
This means students can move in with the main furniture already provided rather than having to arrange a bed, desk and other essentials before the academic year starts.
The furnished setup can be particularly useful for students moving to Newcastle from another part of the UK or from overseas.
Electricity and high-speed Wi-Fi are included in the rent.
Having these services already arranged means students don't have to set up separate accounts for them after moving in. It also gives you a clearer idea of your regular accommodation costs when working out your student budget.
The on-site gym is useful for students who want to exercise without adding another journey to their weekly schedule.
You can use the gym before or after lectures, or fit a workout around your coursework without travelling into the city specifically for exercise.

Exceeded my expectations! The staff helpful and friendly, from day 1 being a part of the accommodation has felt like being a part of a community. Since moving in I have had no problems with noise and the rooms are finished to a high standard. The gym has all the equipment I need for a good workout (you also get it to yourself and book for 1 hour at a time) and there is tea and coffee available in the common room to take away. What’s more, it’s only a 2 minute commute to the med school. I would recommend this accommodation to students in Newcastle.

The accommodation is a great place for someone who wants their little own space. The rooms are worth the money you pay and the perks that the accommodation offers such as private gym, laundry and many other things such as a great location (being in campus and close to the medical school) are what made me choose this place. The staff is really friendly and truly cares about everyone living there. It is also a very quiet place. In addition for a student who has any dietary restrictions it is the perfect place because all the rooms are studios and have their own separate kitchen. Lastly, the rooms have a pretty awesome view and big windows which allows for a lot of natural light to come into the room.

Perfect place to stay if you study in Newcastle University, It’s literally on Campus. The rooms are bigger then other accommodation that I ever lived. You have these nice big windows to allow nature lights and view in the room. Also the stuff here are all super friendly!! You get what you pay from this accommodation FOR SURE!! Highly recommend!! It’s a shame I only found out this place in my last year of Uni...
Nathan Barley
Lovely accomodation with a perfect location for students. Is a pricey option but you get what you pay for with on site gym, cinema room and washing facilities. Room all of a good size and high standard.

The worse and most evil manager ever!!!! I’ve been diagnosed with acute pancreatitis today and been told go to the Freeman hospital now to get treatment, but the manager force me to move out the exact day. Otherwise will “ help me “ to move and charge me money! I have to take the risk to getting worse this evening and arrange to move as soon as possible in case the crazy lady manager donate all my belongs. The female manage shouted at me loudly and gave me an rubbish box which wet and very dirty. I fell I was bullied by her ( as always). I record this not because I want to sue in-laws but I really can’t bear all the things. i know my situation getting worse, but I hope my stuffs will not be through away as I need them to survive. If this evening my pain getting worse and have to call 999 and go to hospital, I beg someone would help me to keep my belongs. All my certifications and official documents, my mom’s present and my wedding rings watch’s 3 computers with all my PhD lab datas are all in there… and so many memories. I don’t have that huge of money to pay what she asked from me, I’m sorry for my poor. And if I getting badly because of the lady push me to leave, I hope some one should remember this. Now my upper left abdomen is really painful. I made an video record. But I can barley speak now. Why people push an illness person to leave and through(donate) away their stuffs. Even cannot wait just one day more? To the lady manager this afternoon, hello student ,Claremont place. And I will post this on SNS as well. I have the video record! I supposed to be in the surgery room for therapy.
