Honestly, the accommodation is very safe, comfortable, and in an excellent location. It was a truly pleasant experience, and if I have the opportunity, I would definitely choose to stay in the same place again. I would also like to give special thanks to the reception staff member, Christina. She was extremely helpful, understanding, and professional. Her service was outstanding and truly five-star level. Thank you, Christina. 🙏🏼

Not a very good experience at Vita. Would not recommend. TOO EXPENSIVE. AS YOU CAN SEE BY THE PICTURES IT IS DIRT BEYOND WORDS. DISGUSTING AND NOT A CLEAN PLACE TO LIVE FOR THE HIGH END PRICE THEY CHARGE. THESE ARE ONLY A FEW PICTURES.THIS IS HOW WE FOUND IT WHEN WE MOVED ARE DAUGHTER IN SEPT 25. DESPITE RECEIVING A WELCOME CHECK IN DAY THEY HAD NO IDEA SHE WAS MOVING IN. ONE OF THE PICTURES SHOWS YOU HOW THE CORRIDOR WAS AND STILL IS UNTIL A MONTH AGO. DAMP, STAINED AND SMELT REPULSIVE. I HAD TO RAISE CONCERNS AS A DEHUMIDIFIER HAD BEEN IN THE HALL FROM SEPTEMBER TILL APRIL. THEN AS IN THE PICTURES THAT IS HOW HERE ROOM WAS PRESENTED TO HER. BOTTLES LEFT UNDER THE SINK. GREASE AND GRIM ON THE WALLS, HOB, CUPBOARDS AND LIGHT ABOVE. SINK WAS BLOCKED. FLOOR FULL OF BITS AND DIRT. BROKEN CUPBOARDS HINGES. BATHROOM WAS VERY DIRTY, SHOWER PLUG WAS ABSOLUTELY THICK WITH HAIR, SLIM AND BLACK STUFF. THIS ROOM HAD NEVER BEEN CLEANED. I COULD GO ON AND ON. I HAD TO DEEP CLEAN IT WHICH TOOK ME 6 HOURS WHISLT MY DAUGHTER JUST SAT AND CRIED. NOT THE BEST START FOR HER AT UNIVERSITY. WENT TO THE RECEPTIONIST WHO APOLOGISED BUT COULD DO NOTHING. SO I CONTACTED THE MANGER. WHO LATER OFFRED A FREE DEEP CLEAN. I HAD ALREADY DONE IT. BUT IF YOU CANNOT CLEAN IT THE FIRST TIME WHAT MAKES YOU THINK THE SECOND TIME IS OK. THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN DONE AND SPOTLESS FROM DAY 1 FOR MY DAUGHTER. ALSO THE BIN STORAGE WAS VERY UNHYGIENIC AND AN ISSUE. I RAISED ALL MY CONCERNS CONSTANTLY BY EMAIL WITH STAFF. AS THIS IS A VERY HIGH PREMIUM PRICE BRACKET ACCOMMODATION BUT WAY BELOW STANDARD. CUT A LONG STORY SHORT I HAVE BATTLED FOR MONTHS AND MONTHS WITH MANAGERS BY EMAIL AND TELEPHONE BUT WAS GETTING NOWHERE. SO I TOOK IT UPON MYSELF AND CONTACTED THE HIGHEST POINT OF CALL WITH ALL MY FINDINGS AND TOLD THEM ABOUT MY DAUGHTERS TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE AS NOBODY FROM ANY DEPARTMENT IN VITA WAS LISTENING TO US. DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT VITA FULL STOP IT’S A TERRIBLE PLACE AND IF I DIDN’T KEEP EMAILING CONSTANTLY THEN HAVING TO GO OVER THEIR HEADS AND CONTACT THE HIGHEST POINT THEN THAT HALLWAY WOULD STILL BE LIKE THAT AND SHE WOULD STILL BE THERE AS THEY WOULD NOT REALISE ME FROM MY CONTRACT. BUT I PERSISTED AND SHE IS OUT AND DOING WELL IN HER NEW FANTASTIC STUDENT ACCOMMODATION AND I DON’T HAVE TO PAY VITA ANY MORE OF MY MONEY FOR THAT TERRIBLE RUNDOWN OVER EXPENSIVE PLACE. ONE NICE COMMENT IS THE RECEPTION STAFF ARE VERY NICE AND HELPFUL. SUCH A SHAME THE MANAGEMENT ARE NOT. THIS IS HOW BAD IT IS TO LIVE THERE AT VITA STUDENT MANCHESTER. SO WOULD NOT RECOMMEND AS YOU SHOULD LOOK ELSEWHERE.

Based on my real experience of staying here for two months, I have found that this place is not somewhere I would recommend anyone to stay for an academic year, for several reasons. First, the air ventilation system is not working well. While it provides a built-in kitchen inside the room, it causes a significant problem with smells that are distributed all over the room, bed sheets, and clothes. Second, the additional services are not as reliable as promised. For example, the coffee machine is always broken during the weekend, and unfortunately, the staff cannot fix the issue. The room service is not cleaned well, and you need to do everything yourself. Lastly, the environment around is not safe for walking at night. There are many construction areas, and I personally felt insecure walking silently at night. However, the entire residence team is very nice and responsive to every query. This is something I appreciate, and it's the reason I would give them an extra star.

Horrible contract and misleading pictures. Read whole review for the full picture. Do not book here, their contract is aggressive and is aimed at new students who are not as careful. Cancellation policy is horrid and they force you to rebook in FEBRUARY, threatening that you won’t keep your room. If you later find friends or a partner to share a house with, too bad. They won’t let you. The pictures lie, this place is very damaged and half the stuff doesn’t work. The cinema room TV has blobs all over the screen. The rooms are okay, but nowhere close to as nice as on the pictures. Events are dead and empty. When I moved in, the cover on the closets was peeling off, there was mould under the stove, I found a juice straw under the bed and there was enough dust to create a jacket. The ventilation is rarely cleaned and is dusty. Because of this, to maintain a clean room you need to wipe flat surfaces EVERY DAY. The pool table only has 1 pole, most ping pong balls are cracked, the ceiling and door had weird marks, breakfast is quickly emptied and is underwhelming, the gym is horrific with missing equipment, the bathroom floor was mouldy, the washing machines are either broken or incredibly hairy (and it costs 7+£ to wash and dry!!! Ridiculous), the ac never gets fixed… so many issues I can’t list them all. Furthermore, beware that the demographic is primarily English school students rather than uni students. They are not bad people but their groups tend to be closed off to people that only speak their native tongue. Finding fellow UoM students is harder than you think. Treat yourself to a cheaper private apartment which is way nicer and bigger. I do want to note - the building team itself are incredibly kind and helpful, and do their best with what they are given. The company is the reason for all the problems, not the team. Reception is always friendly and the event team always tries its best. It may also be relevant to mention that I booked through uninist, although friends reported similar issues.
