best student accommodation I've ever lived in, really high quality and designed very well (strong AC during the summer!). although the windows don't open, the ventilation is pretty good - as someone with a dust allergy I didn't have any issues. the rooms are not very soundproof (many nights of hearing neighbours sing). overall would recommend, the staff are very kind as well

I had my checkout today and Gabriela was honestly so lovely and helpful. She helped me with my bags and made everything feel much easier and less stressful. She also took the time to explain the departure process to me and gave me lots of useful information, which I really appreciated. She was so kind, patient, and professional throughout the whole interaction. I have been staying in Scape Hammersmith for nearly 2 months. It has been a great experience. My room is more than twice the size of my room at another student accommodation and has all modern amenities, especially air conditioning. The kitchen is also very well equipped and I have made a lot of use for it. The rest of the building is also very well equipped with study rooms, pool table, gym and a cinema room, which are all free to use for residents. Scape offers far more the any previous halls that I have stayed in. The staff was also very helpful and friendly. When moving in, they even took my luggage to my room for me. The Scape staff were always happy to help me with any problem that I had during my stay. The halls are also very well located. Three tube stations and a bus station are within very short walking distance, and the Hammersmith Broadway Shopping centre is very close. I would definitely recommend Scape Hammersmith for any students planning on studying in London. It is more than worth the rent.

Scape doesn't seem to have consistent standards when it comes to how residents are treated. Some residents are greeted with warmed and friendliness, while others are met with coldness and annoyance, as if we're a burden. At times, staff claim they're "busy", even when the reception area is empty and there doesn't appear to be much going on. It can feel like they're more interested in avoiding residents than assisting them. When concerns are raised, the situation is often turned around in a way that makes residents feel like we're the problem. Rules also don't seem to be enforced equally. Some residents are held to certain standards while others are given a pass, which creates the impression of favoritism. Overall, the atmosphere feels unfair and inconsistent.

Firstly, the room didn’t feel finished when I moved in. There are paint cracks all over the walls and the ceiling looks like it was never properly completed. The windows also don’t open at all (was unaware of this prior to moving in), and the aircon is not much better because it constantly blows out dust, which is especially bad if you have allergies or asthma. Maintenance can be unreliable. I had a power cut in my room once and it took two days to fix, which meant I couldn’t properly use the room. The lifts also break down quite often, which can even happen when you are in them, where it seems as if the lift is stuck upon reaching a floor. Noise is a big issue. The walls are so thin you can hear everything your neighbours are doing. You can hear some conversations and even small things like cutlery against plates. I have heard of other people receiving noise complaints, which is no surprise considering how thin the walls are. There are also mouse traps placed around the building, especially on the ground and mezzanine floor, which is quite concerning. Staff are very mixed. Some are helpful, but others are rude and quite dismissive. I’ve been spoken to in a way that feels patronising, like I’m being treated as a child rather than a resident by one specific member of staff on a few occasions. I have also witnessed in passing a few other occasions where staff have spoken in a rather abrupt way towards other residents. Overall it has not been the best experience. I recommend it for the location as Hammersmith is definitely a convenient place to live. For the price, personally, I wouldn’t recommend staying here.
