Absolutely loved my stay here in chapter Portobello London! The location is perfect. everything you need is within easy reach, whether it’s transport, shops, or great places to eat. so convenient for students living in London. The facilities are also excellent. Everything is modern, clean, and well-maintained, which made the whole experience really comfortable. The space feels safe and welcoming. Overall, I had a really positive experience and would definitely recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for a great place to stay in London as a student!!

Chapter Portobello has been a great place to live. The staff are genuinely friendly and always helpful. Vasare, Rushkar, Agi, Rose, Muhammed, Ugo, Kwame and Precious have been extraordinary members of staff and Portobello wouldn’t be Portobello without their hospitality. (If management is reading this, they definitely deserve a raise:) )The property is kept very clean and the amenities are excellent. A comfortable, well-maintained space in a brilliant location. Would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for QUALITY student accommodation in London.

I have been in Chapter Portobello for quite a while now, and needless to say, I have undoubtedly enjoyed my stay here so far. One of my favorite things about the rooms here is the size of the windows. They are pretty vast which helps bring in more light into the room, and the pleasant view of the canal is a great bonus. The building’s facilities are also a great addition. The communal spaces are generally cozy and comfortable which is good for studying or socializing, and the gym is also convenient if you would like to workout without having to leave the building. Furthermore, the location of the accomodation is suitable as it is peaceful and has a bunch of nearby markets and stations which makes living here much more accommodating. However, what makes this place truly stand out are the staff. Vasare, Precious, Kwame, Osvaldo, and Muhammad are all very welcoming and considerate of people’s needs here. Their support and cooperation are greatly appreciated as it makes living here much more worthwhile. So, I would say that chapter portobello is a solid choice, and I would certainly recommend it for students who would like a safe place to live with good facilities and a friendly atmosphere.

Chapter Portobello is a great place for medium to long stays. I was on a business trip and stayed here for 6 days. Pros: - Located in a quiet neighborhood. - Next to canal water - Nice and spaced out apartments. - Well maintained building - Saba at the front desk is very helpful. Cons: - Nearest tube station is Westbourne park which is 1km away. - Even the most important bus routes stop 500 meters away. If you are on a visit with heavy luggage, then you better rely on a cab service or taxi. - The apartments are cleaned once a week only. They deny you fresh towels too if you request them in less than a week. Despite the cons, I would still recommend this place for brief stays in London.

if I could give this accommodation no stars I would. such a rip off for the price you are paying. the room has not been cleaned at all contrary to them assuring me it was cleaned. there is so much mould and dust in the room and on the floor that it attracted a significant beetle problem in the beginning of my stay here in September 2025. I had to deep clean the room myself. for the rates they also offer for cleaning this is unacceptable. it is also incredibly hot in the room- heat stroke inducing. they really need to invest in offering some rooms with air con, especially for people like me who are incredibly sensitive to even mild heat. the reality is that unfortunately London has heatwaves so for this accommodation to not make note of this is really inconsiderate. please book elsewhere. the one positive is that the staff are really nice.
