Waterside Court, chester

absolutely horrendous communication. the hot water in my shower hasn’t worked for the last four months. it took me forever to get in contact with someone about it initially, they came out to look at it and said they needed a part to fix it. they told me a month ago that part had been delivered but have not contacted me again about actually fixing it. over a month now since i’ve been able to get someone to answer me. horrible place to live do not book here.

I’m a current resident here and it’s absolutely awful, they’ve tried taking my guarantor to court twice (once for parking on the carpark because the free parking was for moving in days, which didn’t apply to my specific move in date as I moved in a couple days earlier, which nobody informed me of when I applied for said earlier move in date, and once for not paying my rent… which is already paid?). Once they did this, they refuse to respond to their emails and phone lines, and are quite honestly the least helpful set of staff of all time. Staff aside, the accommodation itself is pretty awful anyways. When I arrived, it was dirty, had old tenants items in, and had broken items in (such as the mirror and wardrobe). When I spoke to a staff member about getting access to the safe, I was told I’d receive it in a week, which I didn’t and have still not received it, but I hate the place so much I’m never there anyways so there’s no point now. The mattress I received is completely stained and honestly disgusting, and the shower doesn’t work half the time. The place is riddled with maintenance issues, which absolutely sucks. Take it as you will, but I absolutely hate it here.

At Waterside court student accommodation, I am extremely impressed with my experience. The rooms are clean and well-maintained, with comfortable beds and plenty of storage space. The facilities are top-notch, including a well-equipped kitchen, a study room, and a common room with a TV and games. The standout feature of this accommodation is the beautiful canal view that can be seen from many of the rooms, it is incredibly serene and peaceful which is perfect for studying. The house itself is very quiet and peaceful, providing an excellent environment for concentration and focus. The room is comfortable and well-maintained, with plenty of natural light and a comfortable bed. The facilities are also excellent. The staff (Alison) is incredibly friendly and helpful, always willing to assist with any issues or questions I had. The location is also great, just a short walk from campus and with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. Overall, I would highly recommend this accommodation for students looking for a quiet, peaceful place to study with an amazing view.

Couldn't ask for better accommodation. This is the perfect place to stay when studying and working in Chester. Just a 10-minute walk from the main university campus and 10 minutes to the centre of town. There is on-site parking, too. This accommodation has great facilities, and is also very cheap with rooms under £500 with all bills included. The management team is amazing; Alison is always happy to help and resolves any issues quickly. There are also student ambassadors on call at the weekends who are always happy to help with any issues. I stayed for one year and have now rebooked for another year.
