Caledon Court, aberdeen

No value for money,No security. My documents were stolen they were making fun. I called the police and police is not doing anything about it. They in place of searching for stolen stuff blame tenants or use gaslighting statements. Very pathetic Wicked Predatory people are in management. Management is argumentative and do not maintain the place well.When i created maintainence ticket,He(Jo) outright told me that I am creating too many maintainence ticket out of which they did not serve a single one. Mattress provided was smelly, I had to order my own mattress. the price which i quote for one ensuite room would have been 50 pounds per week but they charge 165 pounds. as they do not provide cleaning services for shared areas or other facilities. They do not provide any facilities.Chairs and other stuff they provide in the name of furnishing are so unclean. Uncleaned space they ask you to move in to unclean space which they cannot maintain for 1 month too. I booked this place for summer stay all of a sudden without planned maintainence alarms are ringing on their whims and a third party person maintains alarm system it seems. architecture is pathetic no way around from one block to another.Even though space is more but the ensuites are made to confine you to smaller areas there are connection to another studios but passing by them is prohibited. Worst architecture for student living. there is no movie collection in movie hall.only monitor .In communal place xboxes are for video games without proper connection. the price which i quote for one ensuite room would have been 40 pounds as they do not provide cleaning services for shared areas or other facilities. Just a way to steal money from students this place is. Vending machines do not work.

I had a viewing with a friend and we are very impressed with the property. The studio is very nice. The facilities are very good and modern. The location is excellent for the university. I also have to say the staff were also very good and knowledgeable. Jo was very enthusiastic and helpful. He created a good environment for us and was very friendly. My friend will definitely book and i would also if i had not booked already. I would say Calderon Court is one of the best student accommodation i have seen in Aberdeen

We all love Caledon Court. We all will stay for duration of our degree. I have made so many great friends here. Caledon has everything you need as a student. Clean and orderly. Hassle free and value for money. Shout out to Joe who has been so kind, friendly and supportive.

Its ok. A bit pricey for student accommodation, but is directly across from Gray School of Arts. Daughter complains that the smoke alarms go off all the time. The smoke detectors are placed pretty closest the cooking facilities, hence going off all the time. In her room (she had a disabled ground floor studio) the windows were so draughty even the blind would constantly move. Another complaint was the washer and dryer facilities. They would take her money but would not function. I would have to take her clothes home and wash/dry every couple of weeks.

The two stars are for the staff and the rooms themselves, I had multiple scenarios where the staff were lovely, remembered my name, and were extremely polite, and the rooms are quite nice, relatively small for the price if you’re in a shared flat like i was, but enough space for what you need. However, whilst staying there during the 23/24 term i must have encountered about 50 fire alarms in the dead of night that woke me up. These were always a cause of drama in the residents group chat that created tension. If you want to wash your clothes, best believe you’re waiting until an ungodly hour to have access to a washer or dryer. If you’re moving into a shared flat alone, beware, I had multiple instances where my flatmates would party, not clean up after themselves and would take no responsibility. Upon moving out, i was the first to leave the flat. This meant that before I could leave, the shared living space and my room had to be exactly the way i found it. I had no help from my five other flatmates with the shared space and half of them were staying at home somewhere in order to avoid responsibilities. Security took ages to turn the alarms off, events were few and far between, and my sleep pattern was broken for months.
