About this property
Loch Street sits right in the middle of the city, which explains why many students end up looking at Centro Court when searching for accommodation in Aberdeen.
Unlike larger properties built around shared flats, Centro Court consists entirely of studio rooms. Every resident gets their own kitchen, bathroom and study area, so daily routines stay exactly that — your own.
The building is a short walk from shops, cafés, public transport and university facilities, making it a practical choice for students who spend most of the week moving between lectures, part-time work and the city centre.
Address: 85 Loch Street, Aberdeen AB25 1DH
One thing residents notice quickly is how little planning everyday errands require.
A Sainsbury's supermarket is nearby, which is why searches such as "Centro Court Aberdeen nearest supermarket" are so common among prospective residents. Picking up groceries on the way home takes a few minutes rather than a dedicated trip across the city.
The surrounding streets have plenty of independent cafés, takeaways and local shops. Union Street can be reached on foot, while bus services from nearby stops connect other parts of Aberdeen, including university campuses.
This location works particularly well for students who prefer living close to the city centre rather than travelling every day from outer areas.
The biggest difference between Centro Court and many other student properties in Aberdeen becomes obvious as soon as you look at the room types.
There are no large cluster flats here. Every room is a studio.
That setup appeals to students who would rather have their own kitchen and bathroom instead of sharing facilities with several flatmates. Some residents like being able to cook when they want, study without interruptions, and keep their own routine throughout the week.
Loch Street sits close to the city centre, so supermarkets, cafés, takeaways, shops, and public transport are all nearby. North East Scotland College is within walking distance, while the University of Aberdeen and Robert Gordon University can be reached without spending a large part of the day travelling.
Another reason students shortlist Centro Court Aberdeen is the simplicity of the rent. Electricity, gas, heating, water, WiFi, and contents insurance are already included, which means there are fewer bills to organise after moving in.
Around the building, residents have access to practical facilities such as laundry facilities, bike storage, secure entry systems, and shared outdoor spaces. An on-site team handles day-to-day maintenance and accommodation-related issues when they arise.
Many reviews of Centro Court Studios Aberdeen mention the location, room condition, and the convenience of having a fully self-contained space in the city centre.
Every room at Centro Court Studios is self-contained, so you get your own bedroom, study area, kitchen, and bathroom within one private space.

For students searching for Centro Court accommodation, the property mainly suits those who want a studio in a central location and prefer having their own space rather than sharing kitchens and bathrooms with a larger group of residents.
One reason many students consider Centro Court Hello Student accommodation is its convenient position between Aberdeen’s major academic institutions. As a well-connected student accommodation Aberdeen option, it offers easy access to university campuses, study facilities, and other key student amenities across the city.
Whether you're attending college, heading to the University of Aberdeen, or travelling across the city to Robert Gordon University, getting there does not usually involve a complicated commute.
| Institution | Distance | Typical Travel Time |
| North East Scotland College (City Campus) | 110 metres | Around 1 minute on foot |
| University of Aberdeen | 1.7 km | Around 15–20 minutes walking |
| Robert Gordon University (Garthdee Campus) | 6.1 km | Around 30–35 minutes by bus |
North East Scotland College: The City Campus sits almost around the corner from the building. Many residents can leave their room shortly before class and still arrive with time to spare.
University of Aberdeen: The route to the University of Aberdeen is manageable on foot for many students. Some walk, while others use local bus services during bad weather or busy weeks.
Robert Gordon University: Students searching for Aberdeen Centro Court to Robert Gordon University or Centro Court Aberdeen to Robert Gordon University bus usually find that buses from the city centre provide the most practical route.
The journey to the Garthdee campus generally takes around half an hour, depending on traffic and the time of day.
One thing worth knowing before booking Centro Court is that every room is a studio. That changes the day-to-day experience quite a bit compared with a shared student flat.
You can cook when you want, study when you want, and leave your notes on the desk exactly where you left them the night before. There is no queue for the bathroom before a 9 a.m. lecture and no debate about whose turn it is to clean the kitchen. That tends to appeal to students who already know they want their own space.
The location also removes a lot of the small inconveniences that build up during the week. North East Scotland College is only a few minutes away, the University of Aberdeen can be reached without much effort, and buses towards Robert Gordon University run through the city centre nearby.
Another practical advantage is that most everyday errands can be done on foot. If you run out of milk, bread, or basic groceries halfway through the week, there is no need to plan a long shopping trip. A supermarket sits close enough for a quick walk.
Centro Court usually attracts students who care less about living in a large shared flat and more about having a space that feels entirely their own.

Excellent studios. Lovely staff who go beyond. Very prompt maintenance. Free car parking at St Peter's Studio for Centro residents. And all at a very reasonable price for a serviced studio flat.

Sorry I have to edit my review. I spent a year at this accommodation. the place is decent but has massive maintenance issue. PROS: - Overall the room design is modern, simplistic, and spacious. I stay at the Ground floor and it has nice big window and a sofa. - The public facilities is thorough consisting of common room, laundry room, mailbox, and bike parking area. - The price is pretty reasonable for a studio room and they provide when asked with flexible contract period. - Location is very close to city center. CONS: - My heater was having issue and they didn't fix it FOR A WHOLE YEAR. it's make VERY loud noise and emitting a lot of dust WHICH TRIGGER THE SMOKE ALARM. The firefighter that came told to fix the heater but they never did. they gave me little "temporary" electric heater that didn't enough to warm the entire room. one day they claim that a plumber will come to inspect all the room's heater so I waited the whole day for them, but somehow they said the plumber missed my room and the management never coordinated another visit. because of that I was having difficulty with room temperature in winter season. - One of the main lamp is broken and they said they cannot fixed it because they don't have the spare part. so I have to study with desk lamp without enough light. - The mirror light was also broken but they change it directly the next day (thanks jason) - The numbers in the post mail box is broken and i have to fixed it myself so the mailman not confused. - They changed the keys to main gate but didn't update it to the local mail office , so the mailman have to ring room bells and asked to open the door just to get access to the mailboxes. - One day the hot water is not working and they fixed it the next day. - The fire alarm rings very often. sometime at 3AM in the morning, I cannot even differentiate a drill alarm with real alarm anymore. - There is rarely any caretaker that available at the site. we even have to wait for about 20-30 minute coldly outside for the caretaker come when the fire alarm rang. - They change the payment system in their website so we have to transfer manually to pay the rent. previously we can do direct online credit/debit card payment. - The trash bin often overfilled. maybe needs to add more bin or coordinate with city trash truck to take out the trash more regularly. - The back gate need to fixed, some part of it is falling down CONCLUSION: Centro Court is a very cozy accommodation that's very close to city center, however it has massive maintenance problems. I'm binded by contract with them so I have to stay for the whole year. I would give a 3 or 4 star review if they come at my checkout visit to gave my feedback directly. but they cancel the visit last minute after I wait for them at my room, so I'm writing my feedback here publicly. the staff is friendly and respond to my emails and complaints responsively, however solution hard to be achieved. this could be a very nice place to stay but it comes out to be a disappointing experience. even though they often held a lottery prize event for students who write a reviews, I hope that all the reviews all real experience and my room experience is just an anomaly. hopefully this review is seen as a motivation for Centro Court to be better and thrive in the future.
