About this property

London court

If your current accommodation options are giving "dilapidated 1970s office block" or "haunted Victorian attic," it is time to scrub that energy and upgrade to London Court Sheffield Student Accommodation. Located on the legendary London Road, this property is the ultimate urban glow-up for students who want to be in the center of the action without living in a literal shoe box. We are talking about high-spec, modern living that perfectly captures the grit and glamour of Sheffield. This isn’t just a place to store your textbooks and survive on instant noodles; it is a strategic headquarters for anyone ready to dominate the 2026 academic year in high definition.

London Court is the definitive move for the modern academic weapon who refuses to settle for "mid." Whether you are a future tech mogul at the University of Sheffield or a creative powerhouse at Sheffield Hallam, this property provides a sanctuary that is as polished as your curated social feed. The design philosophy here is aggressively premium—think sleek, contemporary finishes, spacious layouts, and enough storage to hide away all those impulse buys from the Moor Market. It is the kind of place that looks even better in person than it does in your perfectly edited photo dumps, providing the ultimate backdrop for your late-night study grinds or pre-night-out fit checks.

The philosophy at London Court is simple: your environment dictates your success. Why settle for a damp house-share in the depths of Crookes when you can have a private ensuite room with all-inclusive bills in one of the city's coolest districts? This property manages to bridge the gap between high-end professional living and a supportive student community. You get the electric, multicultural energy of London Road right on your doorstep, balanced perfectly with the peace of a secure, professionally managed environment. This is for the student who wants to enter their "CEO era" before they even graduate. If you want a base that screams "I have arrived" while keeping you seconds away from the city's legendary food scene and nightlife, this is the only destination on your map. It’s time to trade the basic for the brilliant and start living the Sheffield life you actually signed up for—where the Wi-Fi is faster than your morning caffeine fix and the management actually knows your name.

Life at London Court

Daily life at London Court Student Accommodation is essentially a 365-day pass to a lifestyle that your hometown friends will be physically jealous of. The facilities here are a total flex, meticulously curated for a generation that values wellness, productivity, and peak social energy. While the rest of Sheffield is arguing in the group chat about who forgot to pay the heating bill or whose turn it is to empty the bins, you’ll be living the stress-free dream because every utility is wrapped into one neat, all-inclusive payment. No drama, just total financial serenity.

Socially, the vibes are immaculate. London Court isn't one of those sterile buildings where you only see your neighbors in the elevator. The communal spaces are designed for natural interaction, featuring a high-spec games area and comfortable lounges where you can find your squad. Whether you are hosting an epic movie marathon or a pre-drink session before hitting the bars on Ecclesall Road, the communal zones are the heart of the home. The on-site team is also low-key legendary for organizing events that actually matter—forget awkward icebreakers; think high-energy mixers that help you build a community from the day you move in.

Safety is handled with the kind of "main character protection" that gives your parents peace of mind while you live your best life. With 24/7 CCTV, secure electronic fob entry, and an on-site hospitality office that is actually helpful, you are living in a fortress of chill. Maintenance drama? Forget about it. If your tap starts acting up, the on-site maintenance team is on it before you can even finish your morning latte. The property also features essential perks like on-site laundry facilities and secure bike storage, because we know you’ve got places to be. It is the peak of high-end adulting—minus the boring parts—ensuring that your mental health and your GPA both stay in the green. Living here means having a base that actually supports your lifestyle, rather than one you have to survive.

I’m not one to normally leave bad reviews but I want to hopefully prevent other students falling for this accommodation and wasting their money. I have just finished a 5 year degree and lived in 4 different types of accommodation and this is by far the worst I have ever had. The list is endless but includes: incredibly poor management and staffing levels. The average response time to emails is months and the phone line 9/10 times will go to voicemail. It is near impossible to get any issues sorted and you truly feel like no one works at this place! The whole show seems to be ran by student ambassadors?? You know it is bad when a landlord is so unresponsive that it reduces you to tears after weeks/months of endlessly sending emails and calls to try speak to an actual member of staff. For context I did a degree which required me to be on placement Monday-Friday 9-5pm so I was unable to physically go into reception during the day. Although I doubt anyone would’ve actually been there if I did! I moved into a studio which had numerous damaged appliances and furniture, cigarette butts in my sink and an ant infestation (which persisted throughout the year). I also didn’t have a single inch of fire safety equipment in my flat. I had to ask for a fire blanket and a fire evacuation poster (which was a generic one printed off Google and didn’t even include where the fire assembly point was!) It felt incredibly unsafe and again highlighted the lack of regulation or management. On the topic of fire safety, the fire alarm would go off on average 2-3 times a week, often in the middle of the night but there was not a single member of staff in sight. No one gathered outside the building and there was no communication. If anyone is interested, I stayed in The Forge the previous year and would highly recommend this over Nebula! At The Forge there was 24/7 security, always a friendly face on reception or someone at the end of the phone/email to deal with queries. I felt very safe and unfortunately I can’t say the same about Nebula. The only good things about nebula was the location and size of the room. I am very glad to have moved out.

Really gone downhill since I moved here in September 23. For background, I am a first year student. I study nursing which is a particularly difficult course as it is and working long 12+ hour day and night shifts, with issues such as a constantly broken lift (been broken for over 6 weeks currently, and no sign of it being fixed anytime soon - there is 1 lift per building), huge security breach with broken magnetic locks on main doors and 5th floor flat entranceway door, poor management, use of AI images on the website, constant broken objects in bedroom and bathroom and the list goes on... it’s very difficult to feel content and settled here as there’s so many things that have gone wrong. I feel unsafe in my building when there’s constantly an unlocked broken door to get into the accommodation as anybody can enter without a keycard!!! It’s very unsafe, and a breach in all residents safety and security. I wanted to like this accommodation but with the constant stress it’s bringing, I would not recommend my worst enemy to live here. Will not return for second, third, or any year! If i could give a 0 I would but I gave a 1 star for the room size I love that it’s perfect - for reference I am renting a deluxe en-suite and live with 4 other flatmates who are very clean, tidy, and respectful also adding to a somewhat positive experience - if you could even call it that. I have had very recent events of people (I’m guessing management) walked into my room while I was subconscious just waking up from my night shifts and walk back out after seeing me somewhat still asleep. I would expect some kind of warning or permission to come in as this is also a huge privacy breach again! Usually email prior about room inspections or checks I have heard nothing. Below inserted some pictures, also of chipped painted walls from the first day I moved in!

After living here for a year, I finally left. If it weren't for the memories I had here, I probably wouldn't give it a single star. As a student accommodation, it is poorly managed, with limited receiption hours and no timely resolution of issues (maintenance, hot water, elevators). I don't think it's due to the staff, maybe it's the apartment owner's problem. At the same time, the living conditions are not comfortable. In the past year, I felt like I was in an abandoned construction site. There was no separate fence to ensure the safety of the apartment building, so outside the door was a paradise for rats and garbage. During the midnight, the people upstairs always liked to dance happily to the sound of the stereo, mixed with the sound of the fire alarm, making me forget the time. If you're looking for student accommodation in Sheffield, this may not be a good place to stay for a break (study) or socializing.

Best place for students to stay . There is no feeling of HOME away from HOME . In case of any need, the Accommodation Manager and her assistant are very supportive and helpfull . My room's ambiance and view of the road are just perfect

Overall a good place to stay! Nebula offers affordable pricing and is in a great location, making it a solid choice for students. The rooms and facilities are decent for the price. The only downside is the service — it's often slow or unresponsive, which can be frustrating. Still, if you're looking for budget-friendly accommodation in a convenient spot, it's worth considering.

It is a student's own responsibility to clean their room. The stairs and hallways outside the flats (communal areas) are cleaned on a regular basis by our cleaners. At the end of the tenancy, flats must be returned in good condition or additional charges may be levied.

You only need to provide a UK-based guarantor if you wish to pay your rent in three installments. You do not need to provide a guarantor if you're paying the full annual rent in advance. International students will need to provide a UK based guarantor if paying in installments, otherwise full payment is required.

Students do not have to pay Council Tax, but you must inform the council that your are a student and apply for exemption as this does not automatically happen. It is the responsibility of every student to apply for exemption, your University/College or accommodation provider cannot do this for you, though we can help you!
