About this property
A student in Sheffield has to do a few jobs at once. It needs to handle late-night coursework, quick breakfasts before a 9 AM lecture, quiet evenings after a long day, and the usual rush between campus, shops and transport. Redvers Tower Sheffield fits into that routine with a city-centre address, private room options and shared spaces that are actually useful during the week.
Set on Union Street, Redvers Tower student accommodation places you in a part of Sheffield where university buildings, cafés, supermarkets, gyms and transport links are easy to reach. The building includes studios, twodios and apartments, so Redvers Tower accommodation works for different budgets without pushing every student into the same type of room.
Redvers Tower accommodation has been planned around the routines of university life rather than simply providing a place to stay. The building includes self-contained studios, apartments and twodios, so you can choose a room that suits both your budget and the amount of personal space you want.
Outside your room, you'll find places where you can revise, work on assignments or spend time with friends after lectures. The cinema room, games area, gym and communal lounges give residents somewhere to switch off without leaving the building. Everything feels organised for day-to-day student life instead of being filled with facilities that rarely get used.
Redvers Tower Sheffield Address
Address:
Union Street, Sheffield, S1 2FU, United Kingdom
Being based in the city centre means most daily errands take very little planning. You can walk to supermarkets, cafés, restaurants, shopping streets and public transport within a few minutes. Sheffield Hallam University and the University of Sheffield are both within comfortable travelling distance, making this location practical throughout the academic year.
If you enjoy spending time outside after lectures, you'll find plenty of cafés around Division Street and Leopold Square. Grocery shopping is equally straightforward, while buses, trams and Sheffield railway station make travelling across the city simple when you have placements, part-time work or weekend plans.
There isn't one reason why people book Redvers Tower Sheffield. For some, it's the city-centre location. Others prefer having their own kitchen or studio instead of sharing with several flatmates. What stands out is that the property covers the everyday things students usually look for before signing a tenancy.
Here's what you can expect:
City-centre address: Reach Sheffield Hallam University and the University of Sheffield on foot or by a short bus or tram ride.
Different room choices: Pick from twodios, studios, one-bedroom apartments or two-bedroom apartments depending on your budget and preferred setup.
Bills included: Rent covers electricity, heating, gas, water, Wi-Fi and contents insurance, so monthly costs stay predictable.
Useful shared facilities: Study rooms, a cinema room, a gym, a games area and communal lounges are available for residents throughout the year.
Good transport links: Sheffield Train Station and Cathedral tram stop are nearby, making travel across the city straightforward.
Secure environment: CCTV, secure entry systems and an on-site maintenance team help keep the building running smoothly.
Redvers Tower accommodation includes several room types instead of focusing on one style. If you'd rather have your own kitchen, studios are available in different sizes. If you're planning to share with a friend, apartment options may suit you better.

Study Spaces

Shared Areas
After lectures, many residents head to the lounge, games area or cinema room instead of staying in their rooms. There's also a communal kitchen, table football and table tennis for anyone who wants to spend time with friends.
Gym & Everyday Facilities
The on-site gym means workouts fit around your timetable without needing another membership elsewhere. Laundry facilities are available inside the building, and the maintenance team is on hand if anything needs attention.
Safety
Residents enter the building through secure door access, while CCTV operates throughout the property. These measures help create a comfortable environment throughout the year.
A central postcode makes a noticeable difference once classes begin. From Redvers Tower Sheffield, reaching campus doesn't usually take much planning, whether you have an early lecture, a library session or an afternoon seminar.

Be very careful with this accomodation and expect random things to change and you not being able to do anything about it. They will hide behind a wall of online customer service that makes it impossible to hold them accountable. They´re trusting you will ultimately cave.

This is the best place that I ever stay. Management team are so friendly and always act very quick and fixing all the issues that we have. We all know every building has it own problem but it based on how the management team to handle it. Over the past few years I have been staying in this building,I can see how quick they get things sorted everytime we reported and I understand sometimes it take times to get things fix but at least end up they always get things sorted. They are also having lots of activities keep going on in the building. It is good to knows some friends through those activities so that we dont feel alone in our own studio. Their location is perfect for everyone as well as they are at the heart of city centre,it is convinience to go everywhere especially if you are study in Hallam Uni. Glad that I have chose this place as my home in Sheffield over the past few years. If you are thinking to get a nice place to stay, look no further! I am sure Helena and Li Qi will help you to get your room sorted!!

⚠️ Avoid Redvers Tower, Sheffield – Extremely Poor Living Conditions & Unprofessional Management I would strongly advise anyone considering staying at Redvers Tower in Sheffield to think twice. My experience here was genuinely awful, and the standard of both the accommodation and management was completely unacceptable. Firstly, the building itself had serious maintenance and safety issues. There were frequent leaks, and basic things like heating didn’t work properly, which made living there extremely uncomfortable. The washing machines were unreliable and often didn’t work, meaning you couldn’t properly wash your clothes despite paying to live there and having to pay separately to do your washing too. On top of that, there were hygiene issues, including silverfish, which is not something you should ever have to deal with in paid accommodation. One of the biggest concerns was security and safety. There were often homeless individuals around the entrance and exit, which made it feel unsafe at times. For a student accommodation building, this is completely unacceptable and shows a lack of proper security measures. There would be daily leaks and flooding the building. The door to enter and exit the building sometimes wouldn’t work leaving you unable to leave the building which is absolutely a big safety risk. Bills included but the heating does not work. The management team was just as disappointing. Communication was extremely poor — every time I raised issues, I was fobbed off with the same responses and nothing was ever properly resolved. It got to the point where I had to threaten to take the matter further just to be taken seriously, which should never be necessary. Overall, this place: • Does not meet basic living standards • Has ongoing maintenance and hygiene issues • Feels unsafe at times • Has extremely poor management and communication • Makes it difficult to get money owed back I would generally say this is the worst place I’ve ever stayed at. This place bought me nothing but issues hassle and stress, I regret staying here and would not recommend it to anyone. There are far better and worth the money and safer options in Sheffield.
