Update- 06/02/2026 Just when I thought having no hoover, a broken hob, a broken kitchen fan, toilet leaks and endless fire alarms was bad, they humbled me with no water for a WEEK ! And the way the management treated us is beyond crazy. Here is a quick recap; 15/01/26- Water went off. I requested for bottled water they said they would think about it. Emails were ignored. 16/01/26- They finally provided us some water. No certainty on when the water suppy would be fixed. My request for relocation was ignored. 17th & 18th (weekend)- Management disappeared. Their thought process seemed to be, "Not our problem, we can deal with it on Monday". I had to spend my own money to get water and had to use the gym just to take a shower. 19/01/26- A mystery man may or may not come to fix it was their verdict. More bottled water supplied but no talk of relocation. I took matters to my own hands and, with the Council's help, found a alternative place to stay which I paid for out of my own pocket. 20/01/26- Finally, relocation was considered and, I was given a grim Travelodge. 21st, 22nd- Same story. The mystery man is still trying to fix the Titanic, but atleast the second relocation spot was much better. (Had too many takeouts at this point and started to get sick) 23/01/26- Waters back! The bare minimum service I pay for is restored. Yay! Moral of the story- Cloud Student Homes is a life lesson. It really helped me with some character building. I had to call the Council to address the situation because I knew for a fact that the management wasn't going to take it seriously unless third party pressures them. I've also filed a complain with the National code. That's when they took things seriously. Not when we were actually suffering. Now, management is sending out performative emails to fabricate a better version of my experience so they don't damage their National code accreditation for breaching contract terms. For real though, no hate or shade to the lovely Rachel, who did her absolute best. As for the rest of the management I hope your pillow stays warm on both sides. AND STOP DELETING NEGATIVE REVIEWS TO COVER UP!! *** Easily one of the worst accoms in town. The communal areas are filthy and poorly maintained. If you ask maintenance to fix something, it takes forever. This accommodation is literally falling apart. They didn't even bother to deep clean over the summer before renting it to new tenants. Hoovers are not provided for each flat. You have to go to the reception, give your ID, and then they will give you a poorly maintained hoover (a bare minimum for the rent they take). They are strict about rents and the contract, but that standard doesn't reflect the quality of the place. The management doesn't even reply to emails. Rusty washing machines, no toasters provided, door cover peelings, stained carpets and the list goes on... One of the most expensive accoms in my three years in Loughborough, yet the worst one. Go to Watersways, Student Beehive, Forest Court literally anywhere other than this place. Oh well, I'm stuck here till next year.
Student Reviews
THEY KEEP DELETING MINE AND MANY OTHER REVIEWS. SHAMELESS AND VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!! WILL KEEP REPOSTING THIS REVIEW THEY DESERVE 0 STARS OVERALL I wouldn’t wish this accommodation on my worst enemy. Over the course of this year there have been many issues. Lack of security and people breaking in and stealing, ant infestations, poor maintenance, very lazy last minute cleaning before tenants move in. But the most recent and detrimental issue is that there hasn’t been water for almost 3 weeks!!! No water at all in several flats Due to negligence and poor maintenance the water pumps are no longer working. Students have been unable to shower, wash their hands, flush their toilets, wash dishes, do laundry etc. There is also no heating and students are freezing in the middle of winter. For weeks there was no effort to house students elsewhere despite it being their legal duty to. Multiple students even had to contact the council and they made them provide people with hotel rooms but only lasted a day. So students were only able to shower for a day and then went back to being neglected and ignored and the situation is still not resolved. Many students have complained about their emails being ignored and the accommodation team never picking up the phone. They have just been left to suffer in inhumane conditions. It is absolutely unacceptable if I could give this place 0 stars I would and definitely advise students still residing here to sue and take legal action. Foundry 2 was already shut down 2 years ago. This place should also not be running.

Avoid. Oh the wifi is shit too This doesn't reflect the manager Rachel who is supportive in dealing with issues but the wider company of Cloud Student Homes. The mattresses in the rooms are extremely uncomfortable, same with the chairs provided leading to back pain. Frequent issues with the ethernet port which hasn't worked in the 2 years I have been here. There is no kitchen cleaning so it is constantly dirty and there is a massive problem with silverfish and ants in both the kitchen and rooms. Hot water also frequently just stops working for hours at a time for no apparent reason and over the 3rd of Jan weekend the entire building has had no running water for the second day in a row with no one here to resolve it. Other facilities are lacklustre, there is only 1 hoover in the whole building, no car parking but for some reason there is other vehicles parked on the main doors, 2 washers / dryers which are circuit so extremely expensive. Noise is also an issue, there is no soundproofing between rooms and if your on the main road you will constantly hear cars, sirens and people outside. When it rains you will also hear the rain hitting the window sill extremely loudly. Safety is also a concern as for nearly a year the side gate was broken leading to multiple break-ins, thefts and homeless sleeping inside the building. The only positives are the price and central location near town, but my advice would be to steer clear if you have another option.

I HAVE HAD NO HOT WATER FOR 8 WEEKS. There is also quite a lot of road noise + only two parking spots. Originally had pretty bad mattress and desk chair but I was quickly offered new ones onced I ask.

DO NOT BOOK HERE! so many issues, nothing good about living here. All good reviews are from YEARS AGO for a good reason. The accommodation is shambles. Pests, thefts, mould, old, dirty
