Asha House, loughborough

Having been staying for 6 months, I felt lucky to find out about Asha House coz it’s such a lovely place to accommodate, especially international students. One of the best things I love about Asha is its excellent location and the most supportive management team ever. It’s located right in Loughborough town centre, a 5-min walk to Sains, Tesco, shops or any food stores, a 20-min walk to the university’s business school, a 17-min walk to the railway station or else you can always find a bus stand 3-min nearby. Jane, Brandon, Craig (the maintenance man), and Jackie (she is a fantastic cleaner) - I will miss y’all for your responsiveness, your instant support and the small conversations that made up my day. The room is extremely bright and comfortable. Also, my flatmates are so cute. I think I had a memorable year at Lboro Uni thanks to Asha House.

The two years I spent at Asha House were everything I could have asked for and more. From the moment I arrived in September 2023 until my departure, I truly felt at home. The staff consistently went out of their way to ensure that all the residents were fully accommodated and had their needs met to the fullest extent possible. The cleaners always had smiles on their faces and conveyed a genuine warmth during every interaction. The maintenance team was remarkably efficient. When my heater stopped working in late 2024, I put out a maintenance request and within minutes there was a knock on my door. After a quick evaluation of the problem, a brand new heating system was installed the very next day. And finally, the landlords were very approachable with any questions or queries I had, ranging from washing machines to payment plans. Therefore, if you are looking for great accommodation, reliable service, a friendly staff, all at very affordable prices, then Asha House is the place to be. My departure brought great sadness as, after two amazing years, I left what had become my home away from home. I will always cherish the time I have spent at Asha House and cannot recommend it enough.

I lived in an ensuite room here for a year and had a great experience. The facilities were exactly as advertised, with no unexpected costs beyond what was outlined in the contract. The location is ideal, right in the town centre and just a 15 minute walk to campus. The kitchen and common areas were cleaned regularly each month. The cleaning and maintenance staff were always kind and helpful, and Jane was consistently supportive and quick to respond to any issues. They also take resident safety very seriously, which I really appreciated. Overall, highly recommended!

Have been living here for a few years because of the length of my study. The management team and the maintenance team have been constantly great. Jane, the lady we always interact with has been so helpful and professional. If you are coming to Loughborough, give them a call or an email, you will like it there.

I’ve been in Asha House for almost four years and have found it to be a perfect choice for students in Loughborough. It’s located in the center and near bus stops and train stations only 15mins walk to the Uni. During my staying, any issues that arose were quickly and efficiently addressed, thanks largely to the team at Asha House. If you're searching for a place that promises peace, centrality, and a warm environment, I highly recommend Asha house.
