As a mature PhD student, I found this location convenient since it was close to my campus (University of Brighton, Elm House, Moulsecoomb). I stayed here for 2 years. The property is about 8–9 years old, and the rooms need regular maintenance. Requests must be submitted online; urgent ones are usually handled the same day, while others may take 3–4 days. There is supposed to be an office at Vogue Studios, but it was rarely open, with staff mostly based at Stoneworks. Feedback is generally not acted upon. Student goodies are also kept at Stoneworks and are often gone by the time you get there. In winter, the central heating shuts off from midnight until morning, so you may need to arrange additional heating. Overall, while the location is convenient, the management could improve in providing consistent basic services to residents.

Viewed this accommodation at the weekend, everything is clean and a lovely homely feel to it. So nice that theres only 48 rooms and great shared facilities with the Stoneworks accommodation as well. Marissa is so helpful and friendly.

We prefer to receive rent in four instalments throughout the year. Our instalment dates are aligned with the University term if you are receiving student loan support or a scholarship.
You will need to be a student in full time education. If you have finished University and are completing an internship of work programme you can stay in our residence if you have not yet graduated from your course.
As Summer stays are limited to 10 weeks, you will need to make a full payment up front, before you arrive at the residence. Your booking is not complete until payment is made and until payment is made the room is not secured. Summer stays do not require a deposit payment.
You will find plenty of secure bike storage available for you to use throughout your time.
There is no parking on site but plenty of roads nearby where you can find free parking all day.
