About Ravilious House

If you’re searching for luxury student accommodation in Brighton, then look no further than our brand new for 2023 property, Ravilious House!

Situated in the Round Hill area of the city, our property is close by to both the city centre and the main universities, and the beautiful seafront is just a walk away. The Screen and Film School and the University of Brighton are both a 20-minute walk away whilst the University of Sussex is easily commutable by bus. Ravilious House has bus links to all parts of the city, so getting around is easy and so convenient.

Students can choose from a range of rooms including en-suite rooms, which feature modern furnishings, including a comfy bed, private bathroom, ample storage space as well as a shared kitchen and dining room so you can get to know all the cool people you live with. If you’d rather live a bit more independently, then our range of self-contained studios would be a perfect choice - fitted with a fully equipped kitchenette, en-suite bathroom and your own bedroom and living space. We also have accessible studio options available.

Our themed communal spaces and luxury facilities are unbeatable, with the likes of a setback roof garden offering views of the city. We also know how important it is to provide a space for students to crack on with work off campus, which is why we have private study spaces on-site.

There are popular cafes, bars and restaurants dotted along Lewes Road so there’ll always be something going on to keep you busy. If you’re a coffee lover, there’s the Pelicano Coffee Co for a drink and a catch-up with friends. The Lewes Road Inn is a great hotspot for a few tipples after a busy day at uni. If you’re a lover of Indian food, then Brinjals is right on our doorstep and offers some amazing authentic food. Panda Lounge is the place to go for a hearty breakfast after a night out and it's practically next door!

A quick bus ride to the city centre will take you to the likes of Brighton Pier or The Lanes, offering a quirky shopping and dining experience. Explore world-class art, history, and design at Brighton’s Museum and Art Gallery which is less than a 20-minute walk from your student home.

The best part about being so close to all these amenities is that Brighton has a student population of over 21,000 so you’re bound to make tons of new pals whilst staying here.

FAQ'S

How much are deposits?

Deposits vary by property and your deposit is placed into a deposit protection scheme, where it is held safely throughout the academic year and will be returned to you at the end of your contract subject to the contract terms. The deposit you pay when making the application cannot be used towards a rent instalment as this is secured with a deposit protection scheme for the duration of your tenancy.

What if I want to cancel my booking?

Our full termination policy is within your online account. You can cancel your tenancy agreement for up to 7 days after the date of your booking (the Initial Cancellation Period). We will refund the full security deposit. Please note, £20 will be deducted from the refunded amount to cover any international bank charges for deposit refunds made to non-UK banks. If you wish to cancel your tenancy agreement after the initial cancellation period or after your tenancy has started, you will be responsible for paying the rent and any applicable fees for the full tenancy period. However, if you find a replacement tenant who is approved by the landlord and has paid both the deposit and rent, your liability will be limited to the time until the replacement tenant takes over payment. The tenancy termination will only be confirmed once the replacement tenant has completed these payments. If a replacement tenant is found, there will be a £50 fee for updating the contract, which you’ll need to pay within 14 days or it will be taken from your deposit. Once the new tenancy begins, the landlord will release you from your tenancy agreement.
