I have lived here for two years, and without a doubt, this is the best student accommodation I have ever experienced. The facilities here are excellent, and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Whenever I see them, they always greet me with a smile. On the rare occasions when there has been an issue with something in my room, the maintenance team has always resolved it quickly and efficiently, so I never have to worry about anything. Living here gives me a strong sense of security. It is truly a place where both my body and soul can rest. To be honest, this was the first time in my life that I had travelled more than 10,000 kilometres away from my home country. I feel very fortunate that I chose Student Castle. It is safe, comfortable, and genuinely feels like home. The location is also extremely convenient. There is a bus stop right outside the building, making it easy to travel to both the city centre and the university. I would wholeheartedly recommend this accommodation to all future students because I simply cannot find any faults with it. If I had the chance to do it all over again, I would choose Student Castle again without a moment’s hesitation.

Booked accommodation for my 2 student daughters 19 years old and 22 years old. 1 didn't have ID on them due to travelling, so we rang ahead to check it would still be ok. We were told it would be absolutely fine. However, on check in they were told by security the booking had been cancelled. They'd travelled 3 hours to do a student shadowing experience. Arrived 8:30pm and couldn't check in. Booking was still confirmed on booking site, no cancellation email to us. The security was incredibly rude, hung up on me 3 times when I was trying to find out why it was cancelled and very concerned for my daughters who had nowhere to stay at that point and in a new city.. Asked to speak to Management and told to email and get accommodation elsewhere, what help is that when my daughters needed this situation resolved quickly, plus the extra costs when they are students. Security couldn't care less. Very disappointing experience and not the one promised on their website where they say they have great customer service and concerned for student safety. Turfing them out on the streets when they had a confirmed booking and only a security guard left on reception, who could apparently do nothing to help - you need security who also has the authority to use the laptop, and to make decisions, access the bookings, and who has taken a customer service course.. basically like every other accommodation establishment!

So the room I ham staying in is one the first floor of the accommodation, I do not need to take the elevator on most days to get to my room as there is a staircase connected to the first floor, that makes things extremely easy for me as I do not have to walk with my groceries for long time after a long day of classes. An for the maintenance part of things, I got my studio in the best conditions, no complains about that.And about the maintenance and cleanliness of the property, I have not seen a cleaner student accommodation in Brighton!

Such a wonderful place to stay. It’s just a 10 minute walk to Brighton University and within easy reach of other main areas. Being next to a large Sainsbury’s is incredibly convenient. The rooms are very spacious, and having stayed here for two years, I can confidently say it has everything you need. The staff are also very friendly and always ready to help.

Unfortunately, you are committed under the licence agreement to pay the full rent, however if you decide you want to leave early please tell the managers of your site asap. We may have a waiting list of people that would like to take over your licence agreement which would then relinquish you from your contract. If you find a new Licensee, we'll let you out of your agreement from the day they move in, and refund you any unused rent that you've paid in advance. We cannot refund your rent until you have found someone to take over your licence agreement, their booking is confirmed and they have paid the first instalment of their rent.

Licence Agreements are legally binding, so once you have signed and returned your contract you're required to pay your rent. We ask for an advance rent payment (£100 to £300 depending on the location) to allocate you a room.
