I had a really disappointing experience here last night. My friends and I were watching movies in the cinema room overnight, and we weren't disturbing anyone at all. At around 6 AM, we were suddenly told that we had to leave immediately and go back to our rooms because the cinema room is only meant to be used for 2 hours at a time. The problem is, I never saw any clear rule about a time limit, nor was it stated anywhere that residents aren't allowed to stay in common areas overnight. And honestly, at 6 AM, no one else was even trying to use the cinema room. What made it worse is that we weren't even allowed to stay in any other common area – we were basically kicked out of all shared spaces. I used to live at Scape St Lucia, and the vibe there was completely different – people could hang out, play games, chat at night, and no one would tell you off for just being in a common area. As long as you're not bothering anyone, I believe we should have the right to find a comfortable place to spend time with friends. I also want to mention that all the other front desk staff have been super friendly and helpful –sorry bruh, I didn't catch ur guys’ names T-T, but they've always been happy to assist us. However, I have no idea who was on duty after midnight on July 25th. On top of everything else, I noticed that the cinema room actually says you can borrow an HDMI cable from reception, but when I asked, she told me they didn't have one – and that even if they did, it could only be borrowed during the day. She didn't even bother to look. I really don't understand how two properties under the same Scape brand can have such drastically different rules and attitudes.

If I could give Scape 0 stars, I would. Honestly, I would advise anyone thinking of moving into Scape to reconsider. There are many other accommodation options available — save yourself the stress and choose somewhere else. During my stay, I experienced multiple issues that seriously affected my living experience. The water supply would frequently go out, and the garbage chute was constantly broken, causing rubbish to pile up in my apartment. The air conditioning and heating system was another major problem. My room was unbearably hot during summer because the aircon was not working properly. A repairman came to inspect my room and even commented on how hot my room was, but after checking, he simply said there was nothing they could do about it. The move-out process was also extremely frustrating. I spent time cleaning my room, yet I was still charged the full $300 cleaning fee. I tried to dispute the charge and explain that some of the stains they claimed were from me were already there when I moved in. However, I was told there was nothing they could do and was simply shown pictures of the stains as “proof” — despite the fact that those marks were already present before I moved in. It is incredibly disappointing to be held responsible for pre-existing issues and still be charged despite making an effort to leave the room in good condition. Also, please do not rely only on the positive reviews when making your decision. From my experience, they do not fully reflect what living there is actually like. Do your research before signing a contract. Save yourself the trouble — there are better places to stay.
erh yay
Javier is incredibly warm, patient, and genuinely goes above and beyond to help anyone out with a smile. Rachel, on the other hand, is completely insufferable. She is really rude and I realise she only targets vulnerable looking girls who don’t fight back, but completely switches up and acts fake nice to anyone who looks intimidating. She acts like a bitter boarding school warden who hates her life because scape doesn't pay her enough. I was considering to extend my contract for the next full year but since Rachel has completely changed my perspective on Scape Toowong I find it so intimidating to reach out to the receptionists after encountering Rachel so I might just end it at the end of the year

I have lived Scape Toowong for half a year. I really love live in here. People lived here are nice. Especially I want to express my gratitude to Maddy, the front desk staff at our apartment. Her service attitude is exceptional; she is always warm and patient in assisting us. Her professionalism and dedication make us feel truly cared for. Thank you so much for all your hard work!
