City Centre: Offers maximum convenience for GSA, shops, nightlife, and transport hubs (Central/Queen St stations, Buchanan Bus Station). Home to numerous large PBSAs (e.g., Dobbie's Point, Buchanan View, Canvas Glasgow, St Mungo's, Gallery Apartments, Bridle Works). Can be busy and potentially more expensive.

Cowcaddens: Just north of GSA, around the subway station. Convenient access and several PBSAs are located here.

West End (Hillhead, Kelvingrove, Partick): Very popular with students (especially University of Glasgow). Known for its bohemian vibe, cafes, bars, vintage shops, and proximity to Kelvingrove Park and the Botanic Gardens. Accessible to GSA via a short Subway ride (approx. 15-25 mins commute). PBSA (Purpose-Built Student Accommodation): These managed buildings offer rooms (often en-suite) with shared kitchens/living areas, or self-contained studios. Private Rented Flats: Renting a room in a shared flat or renting a whole flat is common. This can sometimes be cheaper but usually doesn't include bills and requires managing landlords/letting agents.
