About this property

Queens Court

Let's cut the small talk: if you're over the basic, beige student digs, Queens Court Reading student accommodation is the unapologetically high-tier option you deserve. Located in a prime spot that screams 'main character energy'—right in the heart of the action—this is not your average crash pad. This is a converted, chic HQ that once housed Yellow Pages, meaning it's architecturally sound and dripping in cool. Now, it's home to a community of nearly 400 students who know that location and luxury are non-negotiable.

Queens Court has completely nailed the brief for Reading town centre student housing. You're a literal hop, skip, and a stylish stride away from everything. Forget lengthy, miserable commutes; your lectures at the University of Reading accommodation destinations are easily reachable, and you're practically across the street from the University of West London's Berkshire Institute for Health. But the real flex? The town centre is your backyard.

Forget the budgeting headaches that make your brain hurt more than your finals. Your rent here is an all-inclusive dream. We're talking water, electricity, heating, super-speedy WiFi, and even contents insurance—all baked into one clean, manageable payment. That's peak adulting without the effort.

The variety of rooms is a mood in itself. From the seriously chic Premium en-suite student rooms, Reading cluster flats, where you share a kitchen with just one other person (hello, minimal dish drama!), to the absolute showstoppers like the Queens Court Reading penthouse options, there's a space that matches your aesthetic and budget. Queens Court proves that Luxury student apartments in Reading don't have to be a myth. This is where convenience meets comfort, and your social calendar gets a permanent glow-up.

Life at Queens Court

Life at Queens Court Reading student accommodation is a carefully curated blend of serious study and serious socialising. This place knows you're here to get your degree, but also to live your best life, which is why the facilities are truly next-level.

First up, the vibe: community is everything. The friendly, dedicated on-site team isn't just there to manage parcels; they curate a full and frequent social events program. Think pizza nights, karaoke throwdowns, and seasonal parties that give you zero excuse not to meet your new crew. It's a ready-made social life—just show up and vibe.

Now for the amenities that make this feel like a five-star staycay. Get those gains at the free on-site gym and fitness studio. It's fully equipped, so no more excuses about that expensive, far-off membership. When it's time to chill, the cinema room is waiting for your next movie marathon or football viewing party. Need to get focused? There are dedicated, quiet study rooms away from your flat's kitchen banter, perfect for smashing that deadline.

Safety is non-negotiable. Queens Court is locked down with 24/7 CCTV surveillance, secure key fob entry, and an on-site security and reception team available round the clock. This means you have ultimate peace of mind, allowing you to focus on your studies and social life without the stress.

Practicalities are handled with equal finesse. There's an on-site laundry room, secure bike storage, and even an outdoor courtyard for when you need a moment of fresh air or a cute spot for your study break selfie. This isn't just Reading town centre student housing; it's a seamless student ecosystem designed to make your university experience as low-stress and high-reward as possible.

I stayed at Queen's Court for one night and had such a lovely stay. My room was really cosy, was equipped with everything I needed (even some cold water during the heatwave) and I was genuinely impressed by the communal spaces. The cinema room is amazing with loads of comfy seating, there's a great gym, and plenty of nice study spaces too. The team were so friendly and welcoming. They made me feel right at home and went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed. It was such a nice touch. If I'm ever back in Reading, I'd definitely stay here again!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had such a wonderful experience staying at Queens Court. I just want to say a huge thank you to the entire team for making my stay so enjoyable. Every member of staff is incredibly kind, welcoming and helpful. They’re always smiling, approachable and genuinely happy to help, which creates such a positive atmosphere. I’d especially like to thank Rizwan, one of the security guards. He went above and beyond to help me both when I moved into my accommodation and when I moved out. He carried all of my bags without a single complaint and made what could have been a very stressful experience so much easier. He is incredibly humble, kind and hardworking, and his willingness to help really stood out to me. The whole team at Queens Court has been amazing throughout my stay, and it’s clear they genuinely care about the students who live there. Thank you all for your kindness and support. I would highly recommend Queens Court to anyone looking for student accommodation.

Your better of getting another accommodation such as Central Studios or Kendrick’s Hall. This accomodation has to be one of the worst places i have stayed and I stayed here for a full academic year. Firstly the reception section is fine, but having to sign in guests every single time they come in or leave is super annoying. Plus you cannot have friends or a significant other stay for more than 3 nights which is also annoying. The overall area is pretty bad and unsafe for females or more vulnerable people in my opinion, a lot of homeless and drug activity around the area especially during night time. The standard en suite room is not first thoroughly cleaned during check in (Dust, dirt & rubbish left in cupboards). The fridge is okay but the freezer is about the size of a shoe box & the shared kitchen is also tiny, cramped and not the greatest. Walls are paper thin, I could hear everything from my neighbour and my guess is they could hear everything in my room, yes even with the additional kitchen space in the middle. The beds are normally a double bed but mattress is thick and study not soft at all. Finally, the amenities listed is so bad i could laugh. The “Gym” is the worst, it has no free weights or basic equipment such as a bench press, or squat rack. Instead they only provide one cable machine & couple cardio machines. Furthermore, the “games & cinema room” also awful, one pool table and one ping pong table for an accomodation housing over 100 students, one cinema room the size of a normal living room with an old ps4 that takes way too long to load. Also the laundry system is a nightmare, it is too expensive over £7 for washing and drying, sometimes when you pay for a machine it doesn’t function, and half of the washing machines are not working. Additionally, if any emergency arises where you must leave the accommodation permanently, they will not offer you a cancellation or go through the proper process of it, instead they will force you to pay the remainder of the rent and enforce debt collectors. (Happened to my friend who dropped out of university due to a severe medical condition) Overall, 2/10. The only redeeming quality is that a few of the reception staff are pleasant—though the rest manage to treat basic customer service like a massive inconvenience. Save your money and book Central Studios or Kendrick’s Hall instead.

Matthew and Catherine were absolutely great! Very professional polite and kind. They showed we everything and explain the process in a very understandable manner. The building is very nice and welcoming. 🙂

The evening security guard is extremely rude every time I have an interaction with him and he makes up his own rules which contradict the day time receptionist. Please give this man a recap course on the rules and regulations of apart queens court and a course in customer service because his behaviour every time I have interacted with him has been disgusting. Another interaction which was unpleasant was that when trying to park at the parking lot waiting for him to answer the intercom he made us wait 15 minutes and never answered then when going up to reception I witnessed him on his phone watching videos! Extremely unprofessional!
