Living in this student accommodation has been a genuinely positive experience. The location is incredibly convenient, with easy access to the public transport, and nearby shops, which made day-to-day life much smoother. The room itself was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed for student needs. the management team are responsive, helpful, and quick to resolve any issues and veryyyyyyy nice especially Simon and Tracey Overall, I would highly recommend this accommodation to any student looking for a comfortable, safe, and well-managed place to live during their studies.

The staff are extremely helpful which is always valuable. I wouldn't mind sacrifing proximity to certain amenities for a reduced rent. I think the room could be ventilated a lot better. The floor boards feel weak and creak all the time when you walk. The ensuite bathrooms could definitely be bigger and the drainage could be better. I really like the quite and the internet is really strong and consistent. I wouldn't mind more machines in the laundry or a bigger space. I feel a bit disappointed at the price considering the overall quality, however, I understand the commercial obligations.

I'm loving my stay here at Central Studios! Tracey is so accommodating and kind especially during the renovation going on at the moment! The location is so convenient, two minutes away from the train station and two away from the shopping centre! Even the washing machines are so much better than my previous accommodation!

Nice rooms but quite poor management. The front gate is broken for ages which is supposed to have card access needed. The reception would not open at weekends so to bear in mind that the parcels may not be handled and stored properly during weekends, it's also not open 24/7 so out of the times there's only security on-site handle emergencies. It's also worrying that it does not mention the details of the company and their tasks to do when the dorm needs access to rooms for checking.

Severe ongoing issues at Central Reading Studio – avoid until fixed Over the last three months the smoke alarm has repeatedly gone off by accident forcing residents to leave their rooms for no valid reason. I reported this to the security department who told me they had already advised Central Reading Studio on the fix required. No corrective action has been taken. Service at reception has been consistently unprofessional. Staff are often messing around at the desk instead of assisting residents. In particular Katie needs to improve her professionalism; she frequently appears frustrated and lashes out at residents. Communication is poor. Phone calls go unanswered and when someone does pick up the tone is rude and dismissive. I am also still waiting for my deposit refund which has been six months overdue with no proactive updates. The contrast is striking: the CRM and payment team is fast and friendly when collecting money but when residents need support the service is unreliable and unhelpful. Requested resolution: Fix the false alarm issue immediately and confirm the permanent remedy and timeline. Provide my deposit refund within 7 days with written confirmation. Address reception conduct through training and management oversight and implement a basic call-answering and callback standard. Until these issues are resolved I strongly advise against staying at this property.
