I had a great stay at Davidson House. The manager truly takes amazing care of the place—you can really tell she cares and does her job exceptionally well. The rooms are a great size with beautiful big windows that bring in lots of natural light. The kitchens are spacious, comfortable, and a perfect spot to relax and chill. Overall, a very welcoming and well-managed place.

Davidson House was a great place to live during my time at Kingston University London. It is in a very convenient location, just a short walk from the Penrhyn Road Campus, which made getting to classes easy and stress-free. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and had a friendly atmosphere. What made my stay especially enjoyable was the manager, who was always very kind, supportive, and approachable. She created a welcoming environment and was always happy to help whenever needed. I had a really positive experience at Davidson House and would happily recommend it to other students looking for a comfortable and well-managed place to stay.

I’ve been really happy living at Davison. The best thing for me is the location — it’s very close to the university, which makes everyday life much easier and saves a lot of time on commuting. The sound insulation between rooms is also very good, so it’s easy to enjoy a quiet and private environment. When I’m in my room, I can really have my own space to relax, study, or rest without being disturbed. I’ve really enjoyed living here. It’s a comfortable, convenient, and well-managed place, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a good living environment.

I would not recommend living here. The conditions are consistently uncomfortable and poorly managed. Rooms regularly become unbearably hot with little to no effective ventilation, making them difficult to use for long periods. This is an ongoing issue rather than an occasional inconvenience. There are also clear maintenance and hygiene problems throughout the building. Damp and general upkeep issues appear to be left unresolved, and communal areas such as entrances and lifts often have strong unpleasant smells that are not addressed properly. Access control is unreliable, with key fobs frequently failing and forcing residents to use alternative entrances, which can feel unsafe and inconvenient, particularly at night. Communication from management can also feel disorganised and intrusive rather than professional, with poor respect for resident privacy or boundaries. Overall, the accommodation does not meet a reasonable standard of comfort or management, and I would strongly advise others to consider alternative options.
