About this property
If you are heading to Dundee and think you have to settle for a dusty, ancient flat just to be near campus, think again. Keiller Court Dundee Student Accommodation is here to completely disrupt that narrative. Situated right in the beating heart of the city, this property is the ultimate base for anyone who wants to be the "main character" of their university experience. It is cool, it is convenient, and it has that effortless urban vibe that makes every other student hall look like it is stuck in the stone age.
Living here means you are choosing a lifestyle where everything you need is within a five-minute radius. We are talking about a property that understands the Gen-Z struggle: the need for a space that is both a high-productivity study zone and a high-energy social hub. The interiors are sleek and functional, designed to be the perfect blank canvas for your aesthetic. Whether you are a maximalist who wants to cover the walls in posters or a minimalist who just needs a clean desk and a fast Wi-Fi connection, this place delivers.
But the real flex of this property is its location. You are so close to the action that you can practically hear the city’s pulse. Keiller Court isn't just a building; it’s a community of like-minded students who are all trying to balance the academic grind with a social life that actually exists. The atmosphere is vibrant, welcoming, and unapologetically modern. You get the independence of living in a flat with your mates, but with the added security and perks of a professionally managed student hub. It is the perfect spot for anyone who wants to skip the "starving student in a cold flat" trope and jump straight into a comfortable, stylish, and connected life. If you are ready to make Dundee your playground while securing that degree, this is the only address that matters.
Life at the Keiller Court
Let’s get into the day-to-day reality, because Keiller Court Student Accommodation is designed to make your life as low-stress as possible. The facilities here are built around the way students actually live. We are talking about spacious communal kitchens where you can host legendary flat dinners and cozy living areas that were made for post-lecture debriefs. The Wi-Fi is fast enough to handle your research papers and your 4K streaming simultaneously, which we all know is the real priority.
Socially, the vibe is unmatched. Since the property is organized into flat clusters, you get that "built-in" friendship group from day one. It is the kind of place where you actually get to know your neighbors, whether you are chatting in the hallways or hanging out in the common areas. The management team frequently organizes events that don't suck, giving you plenty of excuses to step away from the books and actually enjoy your time in Dundee.
Safety is another area where this property absolutely peaks. You have got 24-hour CCTV monitoring and secure key-fob entry systems, so you can sleep soundly knowing your sanctuary is locked down. There is also an on-site maintenance team that is actually on the ball. If your fridge starts acting up or you have a plumbing emergency, you aren't left waiting for weeks; help is just a quick message away. Plus, the all-inclusive billing model means your electricity, water, and heating are all covered in one price. You never have to have that awkward "who left the lights on" argument with your flatmates again. It is peak adulting with none of the actual stress.

My friend stayed at this accommodation for the past year, and while the location is convenient, his experience raises serious concerns about both management and tenant welfare. In March, tenants in his block were left without reliable water for nine days. Although a temporary fix was attempted on the first day, the supply continued to fail intermittently and never functioned properly during that period. This left tenants unable to carry out basic daily activities such as showering, using the toilet, brushing their teeth, washing clothes, or cooking properly. The only support provided by staff was a small number of water bottles and buckets, which felt wholly inadequate given the circumstances. What is particularly concerning is how this situation was handled by management. Despite Scottish Water confirming that the issue was internal, responsibility was repeatedly deflected. Pippa (Operations Manager) told tenants “it’s not our fault, if you’re looking for someone to blame, blame Scottish Water” and also stated that “if I were at home, no one would be giving me buckets of water — I’d have to get that myself.” Framing the situation in this way felt dismissive, particularly given that tenants were paying for accommodation where reliable access to basic utilities should be ensured. Chris (Accommodation Manager) was similarly unhelpful during discussions, frequently interrupting tenants and making it difficult for them to fully explain their concerns. Communication overall was poor — emails were often ignored, delayed for over a week, or met with vague responses. In some cases, tenants had to physically approach staff just to receive a reply. The resolution was equally disappointing. After nine days without proper water access, tenants were offered a £20 Amazon gift card described as a “gesture of goodwill,” which was clearly inadequate given the severity of the disruption. There were also significant maintenance and safety concerns. A broken window latch in early October (reported on the 3rd and only fixed on the 7th) left a ground-floor room insecure during cold weather. Even after the repair, the window was not restored to its original condition and did not shut properly. This posed both a security risk and an issue with exposure to the cold. More concerningly, the emergency contact number provided was incorrect, and repeated calls over the weekend went unanswered because the number was not valid. Overall, this reflects a pattern of poor communication, lack of accountability, and a failure to treat tenants’ concerns with appropriate seriousness. While the location is good, the standard of management and care shown towards residents is not. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this accommodation.

One star only for the location. I had been living here in my second year at uni and made the mistake of rebooking for my third, during my third year I faced so many problems but it could all be summed up in a lack of care the accommodation manager as well as the operations manager had for their tenants. Some issues I brought up in emails had minimal resolve while others were blatantly ignored. This on top of being given the wrong emergency number which resulted in me sleeping in the cold weather (due to a broken window, picture provided of what I had to hold against my window to make sure it wouldn’t sway open and allow anyone to enter because I was on the ground floor.) during October last year, it wasn’t until I pointed out that they gave the wrong number that I was given an apology and was not asked why I called the number three separate times, another sign of the lack of care. Not to mention the plumbing issue that occurred during March where they take no blame despite Scottish Water saying otherwise. And the last thing worth mentioning because I would rather not waste anymore time, I was treated like a child by both Pippa and Chris, who cut me off several times and belittled me on so many occasions and accused me of making conspiracy theories when all I did was point out true facts. Like I said, good location for shops and uni, but other than that it is not worth staying here when you’re not listened to or respected as a human being.

Overall Keiller Court is a great accommodation. It is right next to campus takes you less than 2 minutes to get to Dalhousie and you’ll be at the library in literally 5 minutes. Right next to Lidl so easy supermarket access and city centre is right around the corner. Social experiences at the accommodation are amazing they are always throwing events and bringing highlight to holidays and occasions such as pancake day, world book day, st Patrick’s day etc. The maintenance is excellent anything broken will be repaired almost immediately and any issues you have will definitely be paid attention to. The staff here are always available respond quickly and efficiently and are also very nice. There is even an after hours service to help with any needs after office hours .I have been a resident for 3 years now planning on it to be 4 and I am absolutely thrilled with the place. I love the fact that I can store my belongings in my room instead of moving out and having to move back in again.

This is my 2nd year at Keiller Court and i look forward to many more. My room is lovely and spacious, kitchen is well furnished with a modern design and the bathrooms are a great size. The staff here have been really accommodating and it always helps to have an RC available for out of hour help too. The events held here always do bring together students so it’s easy to engage and make friends. The location is perfect for both Dundee and Abertay students and is super close to Puregym and town. I love it here.

I am currently staying at Keiller Court and had a wonderful experience. The location is ideal, especially for students or visitors to the university, as it’s just a short walk from campus. This made getting to classes or university events incredibly convenient. The facilities are modern and well-maintained.Plus, the Wi-Fi is reliable and fast, which is a big plus for students needing to study or work online. One thing that really stood out was the customer service. The staff are friendly, approachable, and always willing to help. They’re quick to respond to any queries or maintenance requests, which made the stay feel hassle-free and enjoyable. Overall, I highly recommend for anyone looking for comfortable and convenient accommodation near the university. It’s a great value for the price, and I would definitely stay here again!
