Oxford Point, bournemouth

I’ve had a really good experience at Oxford Point. The location is ideal — close to town and convenient for uni. The rooms are modern, clean, and well-designed with good storage space. The communal areas are a big plus — perfect for studying or just chilling with friends. The gym and social spaces are well maintained, and it feels secure overall. Staff are friendly and helpful whenever there’s an issue, and maintenance is handled quickly. Overall, a great place to stay if you’re looking for comfortable and convenient student accommodation in Bournemouth.

This accommodation is a complete disaster and a serious threat to anyone’s safety. My room was broken into because the staff themselves handed my key to a thief. Let that sink in — the people responsible for protecting residents gave my room key to a criminal. This is not a mistake. This is gross negligence of the highest level. Their incompetence is beyond anything I have ever seen. The team was slow, careless, dishonest, and showed zero understanding of the gravity of what happened. They treated the situation as if it were a minor issue, while their reckless actions allowed someone to walk into my room and steal my belongings. This is a place where your safety means absolutely nothing. If you are considering staying here, ask yourself one question: Are you willing to risk your security in a building where the staff can’t even protect your room from being accessed by strangers? Oxford point is a wonderful place to live, I have been here for the past two years and have nothing but good to say about them! The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming always the first to smile and say hi as you walk through the reception area. The events organised are fantastic with a nice range to cater for everyone! The communal areas are nice and clean and bright very welcoming to be in. The price isn’t bad considering it includes the use of all communal areas, the gym and all organised events. Location wise Oxford point is perfect for any BU student being located close to several university buildings and a short bus ride away from talbot campus, a short walk to both the beach and the town centre and surrounded by shops so easy to get your groceries! Overall I only have positive things to say about the accommodation.

very satisfying experience in this hotel quite narrow but comfortable rooms, fairly accurate hygiene, each floor has its own kitchen / living room with microwave, 2 ovens and 2 induction hobs, next to it there are 2 sofas and a TV. The study room is comfortable, and the leisure room is well stocked
