What really stood out for me, though, was the accommodation team. Picking a good accommodation can have a massive impact on your university experience as a whole, Oxford Point is a great choice! It’s in a great location, close to uni as well as social facilities. The property management team are fantastic and always willing to help. A wide range of events are run for the residents, creating a lovely community. The wifi is also a big plus! Money well spent!

This accommodation is a complete disaster and a serious threat to anyone’s safety. My room was broken into because the staff themselves handed my key to a thief. Let that sink in — the people responsible for protecting residents gave my room key to a criminal. This is not a mistake. This is gross negligence of the highest level. Their incompetence is beyond anything I have ever seen. The team was slow, careless, dishonest, and showed zero understanding of the gravity of what happened. They treated the situation as if it were a minor issue, while their reckless actions allowed someone to walk into my room and steal my belongings. This is a place where your safety means absolutely nothing. If you are considering staying here, ask yourself one question: Are you willing to risk your security in a building where the staff can’t even protect your room from being accessed by strangers? Because that is exactly what happened to me. This accommodation has proven to be irresponsible, unprofessional, and completely untrustworthy. I strongly advise everyone to stay far away from

Great accommodation with an excellent team that has provided a high level of customer service and has been there to support throughout my stay. The location is perfect with the beach, shops and restaurant within walking distance. Would highly recommend!

Oxford point is a wonderful place to live, I have been here for the past two years and have nothing but good to say about them! The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming always the first to smile and say hi as you walk through the reception area. The events organised are fantastic with a nice range to cater for everyone! The communal areas are nice and clean and bright very welcoming to be in. The price isn’t bad considering it includes the use of all communal areas, the gym and all organised events. Location wise Oxford point is perfect for any BU student being located close to several university buildings and a short bus ride away from talbot campus, a short walk to both the beach and the town centre and surrounded by shops so easy to get your groceries! Overall I only have positive things to say about the accommodation.

All our student accommodation is smoke-free, so please use designated smoking areas outside the buildings or in the courtyards.

For health and safety reasons, we don't allow candles, incense burners, deep fat fryers, or any electrical appliances that don't comply with British standards and statutory regulations. We are also unable to accommodate E-scooters or any other alternatives. Please don't bring any of these on-site.
You're welcome to have guests stay in your room, however, residents may have a maximum of one overnight guest for no more than two consecutive nights provided that does not cause a nuisance or annoyance to other residents in the Building.
We work on a 5 day cooling off period. This means that should you need to, you can cancel your booking within 5 days of signing your tenancy agreement, as long as you have not yet moved in. If you need to cancel after the cooling off period, we'll allow it in certain circumstances, like if your UK visa is refused or you don't make the grades for your chosen university. Just make sure to send us your UCAS notification or visa refusal documentation within 72 hours of receiving it. You can also transfer your obligations to someone else if you find a replacement tenant who's eligible to live in the property. We'll need to run some checks to confirm their eligibility, but once everything's in order, they'll take over the tenancy agreement.
