About this property
Finding somewhere to live in London is rarely just about the room itself. The neighbourhood, transport links and day-to-day convenience often have a much bigger impact on your university experience than you expect. Piccadilly Court London puts you in a part of Islington where all of those things come together. With Underground stations nearby, local cafés around the corner and several universities within easy reach, it's a location that works well for students who want to make the most of living in the capital.
Whether you're looking for an en-suite room in a shared flat or need an accessible studio with complete independence, Piccadilly Court student accommodation offers a range of living options supported by practical facilities, all-inclusive bills and a welcoming student community.
Life at university is rarely the same from one week to the next. Some days are filled with lectures, while others disappear into library sessions, group projects or evenings spent exploring different parts of London. Having accommodation that comfortably adapts to all of that makes a noticeable difference.
Piccadilly Court has been designed with that flexibility in mind.
Students who enjoy sharing their university experience can choose one of the en-suite rooms, where communal kitchens naturally become places to cook together, chat after lectures or plan weekends around the city. Those looking for greater privacy can opt for a studio, giving them their own kitchen and bathroom while still being part of the wider resident community.
The property also offers several practical services that make everyday living easier. A 24-hour concierge, on-site maintenance team and dedicated social spaces help residents settle in quickly, while comprehensive security measures provide additional peace of mind throughout the year.
One of the biggest advantages of living here is that you're never far from wherever the day takes you. Whether that's an early lecture, a coffee before class or an evening in central London, getting around is refreshingly straightforward.

Getting a university place through Clearing often means making important decisions in a matter of days. Once your offer is confirmed, accommodation quickly becomes the next thing on your checklist, and in a city like London, waiting too long can seriously limit your options.
Piccadilly Court is well suited to students who need flexibility. Some residents prefer an en-suite room where they can share a kitchen and meet new people from the very beginning, while others would rather have a more independent setup with a private studio. Having those choices available means you can pick accommodation that matches the way you actually want to live instead of settling for whatever happens to be left.
If you're looking at Piccadilly Court clearing availability, it's always worth enquiring as early as possible after receiving your university offer.
Living in London means transport becomes part of your everyday routine, and Piccadilly Court makes that routine refreshingly simple. Whether you're travelling to lectures, heading into central London or meeting friends after class, there are several transport options within a short walk.

Beyond serving multiple Underground lines, it also connects to national rail services and the Eurostar, making longer journeys surprisingly convenient.
One of the benefits of living in Islington is that daily life rarely feels repetitive. You don't have to travel into the centre every time you want somewhere to eat, somewhere to study or somewhere to spend a free afternoon.

Some students move to London because they want to experience everything the city has to offer. Others are mainly focused on finding somewhere comfortable that keeps university within easy reach. Piccadilly Court manages to appeal to both.
The location makes travelling across London straightforward, while the accommodation itself gives you the choice between a more social shared-living experience and greater independence. That flexibility is one of the reasons Piccadilly Court student halls continue to attract students from different universities across the capital.
If you're comparing different halls of residence Piccadilly Court with other London residences, don't just compare room prices. Think about how you'll actually spend your week. Easy transport, nearby supermarkets, reliable facilities and a neighbourhood where everyday life feels convenient often make a much bigger difference than a slightly larger room.
Students researching Piccadilly Court student accommodation also tend to check the Piccadilly Court London address before booking, simply because the Islington location places so much of London within easy reach without needing a long daily commute.

The staff here is excellent, extra nice, well prepared and they truly care about the students well being. The place is safe, there's always someone at the reception no matter what time you arrive home. The communication is smooth, and management is great. The room is spacious and confortable. The location is great, next to the underground, cafes, markets and all you need. It's very easy and fast to get to Ucl from here. I have no complains so far.

Parents, if you're looking at this, please know that this place is not worth anyone's money or time. You can rent flats that are bigger, better with nicer people for the same amount of money or less. EDIT: If you go into Unite's Trustpilot website you will see their overwhelmingly negative reviews, especially during this year because of the lockdowns. Some vocal reviews are also calling them a scam. The first thing you will notice is that the staff are not friendly at all. Most of the time they will act like they are not interested at best and hostile towards you at worst. That being said I find most if not all of the receptionists nice and talkative. I can't say the same for the cleaning staff unfortunately. One of the big benefits I was told about is 24/7 heating - This is not 100% true. You have to press a button which will give you heating in your room, but it turns off after 2 and a half hours. This is really annoying most of the time because it's clearly a cost saving measure, despite the room being this expensive. The big problem is that basically all staff have access to your room, and they will try to enter over the smallest excuses. One of the staff tried to enter my room as I was taking a shower. Cleaners will also just enter your room while you are sleeping and then ask you to leave - Yes, you are not allowed to be there if you want to safeguard any of your goods. The laundry room also closes at 10pm, which is annoying because keeping it open doesn't take any effort, and if you did not take out your laundry before 10pm that day then it stays there until the next day. It is quite nice that the place is close to the universities in Bloomsbury but the location is anything but pleasant. You can feel that the area isn't safe, and going down Caledonian Road leads you to a prison and a gym which was the site of a murder. The postcode for this place also points at the wrong location so taxi drivers will likely try to drop you off at Market Road nearby instead. Overall there are many things that make this place feel cheap and not worth the money at all. In fact, I'm pretty sure there were a lot more negative things than I mentioned in this review. I hope anyone looking to accommodate their kids here can find better flats somewhere else.

I spent approximately 3 months in this dormitory. I had to change my dormitory due to the disrespectful and unruly attitude of one of the security guards working throughout my period. Throughout this process, I was subjected to slander and lies, including that I did not sign the minutes I was not aware of. I couldn't stand it and left the dormitory because of this security guard who did not hesitate to humiliate me and my friends in the presence of my girlfriend. During this process, my friends and I wrote down what we experienced as comments here. But then our comments were somehow deleted/removed. We were subjected to insults and manipulations every time as a result of the dormitory’s authorities misrepresenting the incident and protecting the particular person without taking us into consideration. I have been staying in different dormitories in the United Kingdom for 5 years. This place drained my life energy. It made me feel depressed and anxious. Definitely do not choose this dormitory. A country that does not obey rules, is arrogant, corrupt, has no manners, and has no security system. Never, ever choose. If there was 0 points, I would give it, but I can't. (I hope they don't delete this comment either)

Great rooms with comfy bed and big window. Only problem in the room is that you can't open it properly, just a little bit. And ofc problem is when the staff tells you to move your room after 3 months of staying there without any explanation (happened to my close friend). In the kitchen which is supposed to be equiped, there is no sponge, one cup for 5 of us. Hob got broken on my 3td week, so every morning i had to go down so somebody would go up with me and open me some other kitchen. Two white ladies on the reception (except the Colombian girl, she is great) are rude, impolite, agressive and sharing some bad energy around them. Had really bad experiences with staff. There were no cleaners for two weeks. Lift didnt work for a month. Bad organisation and people on the reception acting like we are there for free. Hope Stafford House will figure it out and from now on employ people more carefully.

Stay in the Piccadilly court only for one month but I had a really good time. Room is bright with big window and Staffs are very kind and helpful. Only 1min walk to the underground station and 15min to soho which is amazing. Soundproof is not very good, occasionally I can hear my neighbour making phone calls but it doesn’t bother me in most case. Overall, I really enjoyed my time in Piccadilly court.
