There are days at university when you leave your accommodation more than once.
You might head out for a morning lecture, come back for a while, then go into the city again to meet friends, buy groceries or work on a group assignment. Living somewhere central makes those small trips much less of a consideration because most places are already nearby.
Danesgate House is on Clasketgate in the centre of Lincoln, placing students close to the city's shops, cafés, restaurants, and university areas. The property offers both en-suite rooms in shared apartments and private studios, giving residents the choice between shared living and having a place of their own.
Address: Student Castle Danesgate House, 49 Clasketgate, Lincoln LN2 1LA, United Kingdom
Many students end up choosing student accommodation in Lincoln because of where it sits rather than what it looks like.
At Clasketgate Danesgate House, you’re based right on Clasketgate in central Lincoln, so everyday stops like cafés, shops, and transport don’t take much planning. That means everyday places such as shops, cafés, restaurants and local attractions are already close by, so there is less reason to travel across the city for routine errands.
The location also makes arriving and settling in straightforward. Whether you're receiving deliveries, meeting visitors or heading towards university, having a central address keeps most journeys simple.
If you're searching for the Danesgate House postcode, the property is located at LN2 1LA.
The room you choose matters, but it usually isn't the only thing that shapes your experience of living somewhere.
After a few weeks, it's often the smaller things that stand out. How long does it take to get to lectures? Whether your bills are already sorted. If there's somewhere quiet to work when deadlines start getting closer.
Danesgate House combines a central location with a choice of room types and shared facilities, making it suitable for students with different priorities.
The facility has en suite rooms and studios.
If you don’t mind sharing a kitchen, you can select an en suite room with a private bathroom. If you want more independence, you can choose a studio with your own kitchen and living space.
The weekly rent is made up of:
Electricity
Gas
Water
Wi-Fi
Contents Insurance
With the main household bills already included, there is less to arrange after moving in and fewer monthly payments to keep track of.

I had a wonderful stay here and would highly recommend it to other students. The accommodation was peaceful, comfortable, warm, and always felt very safe. The staff were proactive, friendly, and extremely helpful whenever assistance was needed. There were also plenty of events that helped create a lively and welcoming student community. Excellent value for money too.

Amazing place to live. Would recommend it to anyone! Lovely friendly team who can't do enough for you. Maintenance issues get dealt with quickly. Great location, right in town near all local shops and clubs etc. Amazing views from the back of the building. The shared kitchens are large and modern, all have islands and breakfast bars in, making them really social spaces. All kitchens have flat screen TVs in. Bedrooms a generous size and the bathrooms are modern and clean. Thank you Danesgate House! I have re-booked for next year!

The accommodation is very good value for money, with lifts to all floors and television in each large flat. There's also a continual stream of entertainment offered to residents, which is a real stress lift in the middle of study.
