About this property
Where you live has a bigger impact on university life than most people expect. The route to lectures, the supermarket you visit each week, the café where you meet friends and the walk back after an evening in the city all become part of your routine. Clarence Dock Village Leeds places you close to those everyday essentials while giving you a quieter waterfront setting away from the busiest streets.
Clarence Dock Village student accommodation offers a choice of en-suite rooms and shared flats, making it suitable for different budgets and living preferences. Leeds Dock, the city centre, local cafés and transport links are all nearby, so getting around rarely takes much planning. If you're looking for Clarence Dock Village accommodation that balances university life with everything Leeds has to offer, this property is well worth considering.
Leeds Dock has changed into one of the city's most popular waterfront neighbourhoods, with cafés, restaurants, gyms and open public spaces all within walking distance. The city centre is also close by, so shopping, train travel and evenings out are easy to fit around lectures without spending much time travelling.
Accommodation starts to feel different once the semester gets busy. The distance to campus, the facilities you actually use and the time you spend travelling begin to matter much more than they do on move-in day. Clarence Dock Village Leeds focuses on those practical parts of student life.
Clarence Dock Village student accommodation offers a straightforward choice of room types. Whether you'd rather have your own bathroom in a shared flat or live with a smaller group of friends, there's an option for both.

Both en-suite rooms include a private bathroom while sharing the kitchen and living space with flatmates. The 3 Bed Flat suits students who prefer sharing with a smaller group rather than larger cluster flats.
The main household bills are already covered, so you won't need to organise separate utility payments after moving in.

Study rooms give you another place to work when you need a quieter environment. The common room, cinema room and outdoor courtyard offer somewhere to spend time with friends after lectures, while the dining space is useful when you're cooking together or hosting visitors.
Laundry facilities, bike storage and on-site maintenance help with everyday practicalities. CCTV, secure entry and a 24-hour on-site team add reassurance throughout your stay at Clarence Dock Village Leeds.
Leeds Dock gives you good access to universities across the city. A short bus ride covers most campuses, while the city centre is close enough for cycling if that's already part of your routine. Daily travel stays fairly straightforward throughout the academic year.

Review and ratings
Bethany
Horrific experience from start to finish. The building was freezing in winter because the heating was rarely on. In summer, the rooms became unbearably hot as the windows only opened a small crack. When I asked staff to open them further (which is possible), they refused, even though others were allowed to. No fans were provided, so the rooms became uncomfortably hot and effectively forced you out. To make matters worse, an entire block of students was moved to a different building just two months before the end of the tenancy. We were separated from friends and relocated into smaller rooms that smelled strongly of paint. We are still pursuing compensation, which has been repeatedly delayed with various excuses. Overall, there was poor management, poor communication, and little consideration for the students living here. I would not recommend staying here. Staff were repeatedly seen drinking and socialising on site specifically on Friday and Saturday nights which was frustrating because of the lack of considerations on student welfare. Significant money was spent renovating the common areas rather than addressing basic issues like ventilation. In addition, Some students raised concerns that positive reviews may have been encouraged, with mentions of alcohol being used as an incentive, which is highly inappropriate. For that reason, I would take the existing positive reviews with caution.

This place was amazing, great atmosphere, staff were all really friendly, common room is excellent, I've already booked again for next year!!!

Look elsewhere for accommodation. We are currently documenting all the instances of poor environmental health management, unprofessionalism, rudeness, abusive behaviour and lack of consideration for the student experience (demanding that students to move to different blocks during assessment periods, providing accommodation to people who are not currently students, etc...). Our next step will be to take our concerns to the Student Union, the university and very possibly the housing ombudsmen.

This is the period of time which you've agreed to be a tenant of the property. The first date is the date you can move into the property, the last date is the last date you can move out of the property. This period of time cannot be changed once the tenancy agreement has been signed and returned. If you do not use the property for a period of time (for example, going to another address during the holidays or leaving earlier than the tenancy end date), you will still need to pay all of the rent that you've agreed to within the tenancy agreement.
