Excellent quality accommodation 👌 I was in one of their superior plus single en-suite rooms and it was nothing short of luxurious. They clean your room AND en-suite bathroom once a week which is a big plus and one of the major reasons why I chose cityblock. Great location. Amazing staff, always ready to help and any maintenance issues fixed in a jiffy. Sainsbury’s just across the road is a major convenience. Rent is a bit high but would highly recommend this to anyone looking for an all-round student accommodation. P.S: unmatched views of the city centre and castle especially if you live in the 3rd or 4th floor.

I have lived in CityBlock for 3 years now. The first year, I lived in the Marton Street building and I lived in the Penny Street building for the other 2 years. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly and I couldn’t have asked for a better group of people to make me feel at home! Any maintenance issue was fixed within a few hours and any general issues I had were very quickly sorted. The flats and studios are really well furnished and have everything you need. The location is also ideal. I would definitely highly recommend CityBlock to anyone looking for both studios and shared flats in town!

Living at CityBlock for my final year at university was one of the best decisions! The accommodation is lovely, spacious and clean, with some amazing views of Lancaster and the castle! But I think the best thing about it are the caring individuals who look after and run the block - they make you feel welcome and comfortable. I have been living in Cityblock for the academic year 19/20 and have absolutely loved it. Everything you need is around the corner, the living space and the rooms are so beautifully done and are perfect for every student, and the views of the castle from the flats is stunning. Apart from that, the team working in the reception and the cleaners are so friendly and caring and wonderful to talk to. This has been a difficult end to the year but city block has been amazing throughout. I will really miss living there.

To reserve a room we require a £100 holding deposit, which will be registered as a tenancy deposit with the Deposit Protection Service once you sign your Tenancy Agreement.
