Indi is an amazing built to rent residential site! There is a Pool, Sauna, Dog Run, Gym and many dining/work spaces that are all available on site. Maintenance is quick to action any issues and are very attentive for anything you may need. Kenny & James are a funny couple of characters that you’ll find at the lobby reception desk. Always there for a chat or to assist you with anything you may need. I look forward to the opening of the new library in late 2026!

What an easy and pleasurable experience it was to view and enthusiastically take up the offer to live at Indi Southbank. We looked at many of these rental properties and Indi was by far the best in terms of location, amenities, fixtures and staff. A special mention to Frank Gallan who guided us through the rental experience with friendliness and ease. Thank you Frank for making it all so pleasurable and quick I’m a father from interstate leaving his son And his partner here (moving for work) and feel very comfortable knowing they are in a lovey safe environment. We had an inspection last week - very very nice and stylish place! We have been living in BTR for a year, and this place definitely tick a lot of boxes, only that the location is not exactly what we prefer so we did not apply! I do recommend anyone looking at BTR to check it out. And if you do, highly recommend Frank as the guide, within 30mins we inspected all the configurations, different level views, and all questions were answered professionally!

We were among the first residents at Indi Southbank since last November, drawn in by the "rent only" concept and the enthusiasm the team showed at the start. Unfortunately, the experience went downhill the longer we stayed. Common areas and neighbours: dirty dishes are constantly left in the common areas, along with noise and a general lack of respect between residents. The gym, pool, and sauna are regularly overrun by noisy outside guests (sometimes more than 10 non-residents at once). Most residents don't seem to think twice about inviting all their friends over, with no regard for the peace and comfort of others. Building issues: the garbage chute is frequently out of service, and the common areas, corridors, and lifts are consistently cold (the apartments themselves are fine, it's just the shared spaces). Safety and management response: on the night of 31 May, we were verbally attacked and intimidated by another resident in the media room, with no valid reason whatsoever. A detailed, formal email was sent to management that same day, requesting an investigation and a written follow-up. Over a month later (it's now 6 July), we still haven't received any response regarding this incident. What's most frustrating is that management responds promptly to anything related to billing or break lease fees, but consistently ignores the part of our emails referencing the incident, even when it's included in the same message. This selective silence, on such a serious matter, makes us think nothing was ever done about it, and honestly, we can't help but wonder whether our background played a role in how this complaint was (not) handled. Indi's messaging is all about comfort and community, but in reality, it's turned into an individualistic, often disrespectful environment. Management seems responsive only when it comes to collecting fees and invoices, but completely absent when it comes to addressing complaints or ensuring residents' safety and wellbeing. Following this incident and the overall atmosphere, we ended up breaking our lease, despite having signed on enthusiastically for an initial 12-month term. Such a shame, because the concept had real potential, but without genuine follow-through from management on resident safety and wellbeing, it all feels superficial.

My experience with Indi has been amazing from the moment I registered for my tour. Initially, I was planning to choose a different place, but Frank completely changed my mind and I saw that Indi is building a wonderful community. He showed me all the apartment options available, amenities, and explained the leasin process and I was sold. The rental application was quick with Abby, I had my application approved within a day and Frank even scheduled my move-in a month ahead of my planned date.
