The property is located in the heart of the city’s academic and commercial activities at 339 Swanston Street, Melbourne, VIC 3000. Swanston Street is a lively area with a constant stream of activity throughout the day as students move between campuses, tourists come into the CBD, and stores and food outlets trade along the adjoining streets. If you come to study in Melbourne, living here means that you have most of the city at your fingertips rather than spending a good part of the day going into the center.
Whether you are a domestic student moving out for the first time or an international student settling into Melbourne, Student Living - 339 Swanston combines private accommodation with practical facilities and a location that keeps university, transport and everyday amenities close by.
The accommodation at Student Living 339 Swanston is made up of several apartment configurations rather than a single standard room type. That gives residents some flexibility in deciding how much space they need and whether they want to live alone or share an apartment.

The Standard Studio Apartment starts from AUD 500 and is suited to residents who prefer an independent living arrangement. Having your own apartment gives you a private space to study, rest and organise your daily routine without sharing your immediate living area with other residents.
The 1 Bedroom Apartment Large starts from AUD 535 and provides additional space within a one-bedroom configuration. It may suit students who want more room than a standard studio while still keeping the apartment setup relatively private.
The 1 Bedroom Apartment Twin starts from AUD 585. This option is intended for shared occupancy and can work for students who want to live with a friend or partner while remaining within a one-bedroom apartment format.
The 1 Bedroom Apartment Convertible is also available from AUD 585. Its convertible layout provides a different arrangement for residents looking for some flexibility in how the available space is used.
For students planning to share with another person while retaining a defined apartment space, the 2 Bedroom Apartment Standard starts from AUD 635. The two-bedroom arrangement gives each resident a separate bedroom within the same apartment.
The property also lists a 3 Bedroom Apartment, although a starting price has not been provided. This option may suit a group looking to live together, but the available pricing would need to be confirmed before booking.
Living at Student Living 339 Swanston extends beyond just the apartment. The property has several facilities intended to support studying, socialising and the practical side of living independently in Melbourne.
The central location also means residents have plenty of options outside the building. Universities, libraries, cafés, shops, public transport and recreational spaces are all part of the surrounding area, giving the property a distinctly city-based student lifestyle.
Having somewhere suitable to work can make a difference during busy parts of the semester. Student Living 339 Swanston provides dedicated study rooms where residents can concentrate on assignments, revision or other academic work.
There are also public areas with air conditioning, giving residents a comfortable shared setting away from their individual apartments. These spaces are useful for taking a break from your room or spending time with other residents.
The combination keeps the accommodation from feeling entirely room-based. You have a private apartment to return to, while the shared areas provide another setting for study and everyday interaction.
Security is a big aspect of any accommodation setup, especially when students are living on their own in the middle of a metropolis. Student Living 339 Swanston provides 24-hour security and security cameras throughout the building.
Business Hours: The front desk and on-site reception are available during business hours, giving a point of contact for residents needing assistance with basic questions or property-related issues. Outside of normal reception hours, we also have After Hours Emergency Staff available should urgent support be necessary.
Such structures give residents specific contacts both during normal operating hours and when a problem crops up later in the day.
Several facilities at Student Living - 339 Swanston are focused on the practical parts of student life. The rent includes building-wide Wi-Fi, keeping residents connected for university work, online communication, and everyday use.
Onsite laundry means washing facilities are available within the property rather than requiring a separate trip elsewhere. Printing services available are also useful for assignments, forms and other university documents.
For residents who cycle around Melbourne, Free Bicycle Storage provides a designated place to keep a bicycle at the property.
These facilities may seem routine, but they become particularly useful over a longer stay. Internet access, laundry, printing and bicycle storage are all things that form part of a student's weekly routine, so having them available within the accommodation reduces some of the small errands that otherwise take up time.

Provide additional options depending on your destination.

The central location means everyday shopping does not require a long trip. Several supermarkets are located around the property, including FoodWorks, ALDI 501 Swanston Street, Coles Central Melbourne CBD and Woolworths QV.
These stores cover the basic grocery runs that become part of any student's weekly routine, whether you are picking up ingredients for your apartment or simply replacing a few household essentials.
Melbourne's café culture is also well represented around the neighbourhood. Mr Tulk at State Library Victoria provides a convenient option close to the accommodation, while Hikari and Arrow Cafe Carlton offer other places to stop for coffee, breakfast or something quick between classes.
There is considerably more choice when it comes to eating out. Cookie offers Thai food, while Il Gambero brings Italian cuisine into the surrounding Carlton precinct. For an evening that extends beyond a straightforward meal, The Toff in Town provides another nearby social and dining option.
One of the advantages of living in central Melbourne is having several different parts of the city within a relatively compact area. Shopping centres, public spaces, libraries, fitness facilities and places to meet friends are all located around Student Living 339 Swanston.
For retail shopping, Melbourne Central, QV Melbourne and Emporium Melbourne are all nearby. Together, these destinations cover a wide range of stores, from everyday essentials to fashion, electronics and specialist retail.
The area also has several green spaces where you can get away from the busy streets for a while. Lincoln Square, Carlton Gardens and Flagstaff Gardens each offer somewhere to walk, sit outdoors or take a break from university work.
For academic work outside the accommodation, State Library Victoria is particularly useful. Its location close to Swanston Street makes it an accessible study and research resource, giving students another option when they want a change from the study rooms at the property.
Fitness facilities include Melbourne City Baths and Fitness First Melbourne Central Platinum, allowing residents to maintain an exercise routine without travelling far from the CBD.
The surrounding area also has several places for socialising. The Oxford Scholar Hotel and Young & Jackson Hotel are nearby pubs where residents can meet friends, have a meal or spend some time outside the accommodation.
Student Living 339 Swanston brings together private apartment living and a central Melbourne address. The accommodation range includes studios, one-bedroom apartments, a two-bedroom option and a three-bedroom apartment, so residents can consider different arrangements depending on their preferred level of privacy and whether they want to share.
The property also covers several practical aspects of student life. Study rooms provide somewhere to work outside the apartment, while building-wide Wi-Fi, on-site laundry, printing facilities, and free bicycle storage handle some of the regular requirements of living independently.
Security is another part of the accommodation setup, with 24-hour security, security cameras, a front desk, on-site reception and after-hours emergency staff. Public areas are air-conditioned, adding another useful feature for residents spending time outside their apartments.
Location remains a major part of the Student Living 339 Swanston student accommodation experience. The University of Melbourne, Victoria University and William Angliss Institute Australia are all accessible, while Melbourne Central, QV Melbourne, Emporium Melbourne and Queen Victoria Market place shopping and city amenities close by.
The surrounding streets also make it easy to build a routine around places such as State Library Victoria, Lincoln Square, Carlton Gardens, Melbourne City Baths and the cafés and restaurants around Carlton and the CBD.
Moving to Melbourne for university involves choosing more than a room. The apartment configuration, facilities, transport connections and surrounding neighbourhood can all shape what everyday life looks like once you arrive.
Student Living 339 Swanston offers several apartment formats, including a private studio, larger one-bedroom apartment, twin and convertible one-bedroom options, a standard two-bedroom apartment and a three-bedroom apartment. The building also provides study rooms, Wi-Fi, laundry facilities, printing services, bicycle storage and dedicated reception and security arrangements.
Outside the property, the Swanston Street address puts residents close to universities, public transport, supermarkets, cafés, restaurants, shopping centres, libraries, parks, gyms and social venues. The combination gives students access to both the academic side of Melbourne and the wider city without needing to live far from the CBD.

I am living here for a year and the pricing of the rent for the apartments is very reasonable. The location of the building makes it easier to live here. It also comes in free tram zone which makes it convenient to travel. The building has amenities such as table tennis, pool table, and a common area with a study room. It has washing machine and a dryer on each floor which costs 6AUD and 4AUD coins respectively. There is a note to coin exchange machine as well in the building. The staff is helpful and friendly. We can participate in events such as movie nights (we get to watch the latest movie at no cost), dinner, festival visits, museum visits and much more. As a student, I feel this makes me socialise with other residents and is helpful to make new friends. The apartment has a microwave, heater, cooktop, bed, sofa, working lights, dining and study table, wardrobe and whatever necessary to live a productive and peaceful time as a student.I haven’t faced any pests in my apartment as I regularly clean the apartment. If I have faced any issue the staff has been helpful and always made sure the work is done. Overall I feel for the price, this is a great place to stay as student.

Living at 339 Swanston Street (Jensen House, formerly UniLodge) has been amazing! Right in the heart of the city, it's hard to find fully furnished accommodation at this price in Melbourne CBD. The community here is what makes it special—Prerna and Nacho (our RAs) are incredible, always friendly and helpful. Tanay is just a message away whenever we need anything, and our manager brings great energy to the place. Monthly events like movie nights, bowling, sip & draw, game nights, and more keep life exciting—even if you're new or alone, you'll never feel it here. Honestly, my friends from other apartments are low-key jealous! Huge shoutout to Prerna—she’s absolutely awesome, like a true friend..

Good location but the worst receptionist/ management ever. They are so rude, hang up on calls, say they would get back to me in a few minutes and left me waiting forever because they never call back. If you ever ask the receptionist for help at the reception, there answer is “NO WE ARE NOT IN CHARGE OF THAT. ITS NOT OUR RESPONSIBILITY TO HELP YOU WITH ANYTHING”. The building has rats and mouse running in the middle of the corridor. One time, I lost my key, and I needed a replacement, which I was happy to pay the $80 charge. But they said “we don’t have any spare key left”, so everytime I needed to get in the house for the week, it’s $30/time they open the door. The Asian lady and the Asian guy with glasses are the worst. They are so rude, helpless and careless.

Living at 339 Swanston Street (now Jensen House, used to be UniLodge) has been such a vibe! Right in the middle of the city, fully furnished, and super affordable for Melbourne CBD—can’t beat that. But the real magic? The people! our RAs, Prerna, Nacho are really good, so friendly and always there when you need something. Tanay, one ping and he’s got your back. The new manager Abhi super chill too, spreading good vibes. Best part? The monthly events! Movie nights, bowling, sip & draw, game nights, café catch-ups—you name it. You’ll never feel bored or alone, even if you’re new in town. Honestly, my friends in other places are jealous of how fun it is here.
