Manchester City Centre
Manchester City Centre is approximately 10 to 15 minutes on foot from the Riverside campus. It offers one of the largest selections of purpose-built student accommodation in Manchester.
Weekly rent generally ranges between £150 and £320. Close to shopping centres, restaurants, cafés, supermarkets, entertainment venues and public transport, students here.
The location also allows quick travel to both the Riverside campus and other parts of Greater Manchester. Students who prefer city-centre living often consider this area because it combines convenience with a wide choice of accommodation.
MediaCityUK / Salford Quays
MediaCityUK and Salford Quays are particularly suitable for students studying Film, Television, and related creative courses because Futureworks operates dedicated film studios within this area.
Students travelling between the Riverside campus and MediaCityUK usually use the Metrolink, making the journey straightforward. Accommodation costs are generally comparable with Manchester city-centre purpose-built student accommodation.

Students with practical sessions at MediaCityUK may also find it useful to live closer to Salford Quays, to cut down on travel time between their accommodation and the film studios.
