Great accommodation - quite simple, but in a good way....in that the rooms have a good amount of space, the bathrooms are compact, but have everything you need and there's a good sized shared kitchen. Plus, there's a gym and other shared spaces. It's a 15/20 minute walk to the City Centre, and surrounded by convenient shops. It's very close to the LJM campus, and also Lime Street train station.

I never intended on making this review however with the reason covid-19 outbreak and the way sanctuary students have decided to treat its residents I feel its only fair you get to hear first hand what to expect when living here. From the instance I moved into my flat my flatmate reported a leak which still to this day remains as it is. The leak was reported numerous times not only by myself but by my other flatmates and was also inspected by the caretakers. When I decided to go down and report it again (I'd say for the third time) I was told by one the receptionist that I was lying and nothing had been reported (Me and my flatmates filled out documentation stating there was a leak) which to my seemed like a very unprofessional reaction. With the recent covid-19 outbreak many students including myself have decided to jump ship and go back to our homes meaning we wouldn't be in our flats for the final term. I queried about getting a refund on the rent for final term since other accommodations in the area (Liberty Gardens for example) are offering their tenants a refund if they decide to go home, which seems a much more reasonable way of handling the situation and shows that they care about their tenants and are sympathetic given the current state that we find ourselves in. Now I wasn't expecting a full refund but had my hoped up for at least some cashback given the fact that we wouldn't be using any water or electricity... but nope, nothing at all. Now lets talk about the flat itself. You get what you pay for and it isn't much at all, as someone that enjoys being away from home I couldn't wait to get back, you could say that you know something is wrong when the flat your in makes mental asylums look like vacation resorts. The walls in the flat a plain white with marks over the walls and not to mention the run down fixtures in the kitchen. P.s If you decide to stay here bring a screwdriver since things tend to break. As a final word, I'd like to thank the employees at the place that actually made it somewhat bearable to live there. And to the people reading this reviews id suggest paying the bit extra for another accommodation to keep your sanity in check, or alternatively, pack some spare condoms to keep yourself protected from the BS that this accommodation has in store for you. Edit: Make sure you have a phone on you when in the elevator as if it breaks you will be forced to call the firefighters to get you out, this could take anywhere between 30 minutes to an hour depending on the time of day

Kitchens are small and don't even come with a table for eating off. Staff can be reluctant to give you any real help when you need it (e.g. Anti-bullying policy is not followed closely. And staff seemed to enjoy the "gossip" of me being bullied)

Brilliant facilities: gym, laundry room, cinema room and games room. The staff are very helpful and the accommodation is well secured. Rooms are a good size too.
