Terrible account management and unprofessional staff throughout my tenancy. On the admin side: a discount code was confirmed in writing but never applied — I had to chase it up months later. A cleaning fee was incorrectly recorded as rent when they changed my room, and once again I was the one who discovered the mistake. The worst part: my portal showed a final payment of £2,676, and a manager confirmed this amount in person, only for the team to come back weeks later saying I owed £172 more with no prior notice. Every single error came from their side, yet every time it fell on me to find it and push for a fix. On top of that, the night reception staff were incredibly rude and unprofessional. When I went to collect a parcel and politely asked "Can I collect my parcel?", the staff member refused to help and demanded I say the “magic word” . It was not said in a joking manner, and even if it were, it is not appropriate for a staff member to speak to a paying tenant that way. The same staff member also referred to me by my room number instead of my name, while laughing and chatting loudly with colleagues. Completely unprofessional. The building itself is decent, but between the constant billing errors, lack of communication, and disrespectful front desk behaviour, I would not recommend Scape Leeds to anyone.
