5 Bedroom House at 38, Cavendish Street, lancaster

Nice, modern student housing that was reasonably priced and in an excellent location. My bedroom was quite large with a perfectly sized desk, a wardrobe with built in shelves and also a sink in the bedroom which was incredibly helpful. The kitchen had a large fridge freezer with more than enough space for four tenants and the living room is on the smaller side but was still completely fine for all four of us to spend time together. As well we had no faults with the landlords who were really helpful and fast at replying to any of our concerns and problems. Definitely recommend and will miss my time at Lentworth :)

I lived at 13 Lentworth House from 2024-25 and have had a very positive tenacy. The house was modern, well maintained and walking distance to campus. The Landlords were great, prompt to reply and quick to address any issues or concerns. Good location with a shop, pub and bus stop all within 5 mins. The rooms all had lots of natural light and the facilities were great including dishwasher and tumble dryer, real luxuries in a student house! Great experience, definitely 5 stars!

Leaving this review for any future students considering moving into either of Chris and Jacqui's Lancaster properties. Good landlords can be hard to come by and having heard horror stories from friends I can't emphasise enough how lovely the past two years living at 1 Gologotha Road has been. The house is really well furnished and maintained, with modern appliances and newly refurbished bathrooms. The rooms offer decent size for a 6 bed house and the communal lounge and kitchen area is ideal for students. Chris and Jacqui themselves are lovely and were always on hand to assist with any queries or emergencies. I couldn't recommend them enough!

Chris was a brilliant landlord who was attentive and quick to fix any issues we brought up (which were minimal) the house was lovely and well looked after and he prioritised our experience even installing a door camera so we felt safer. Could not recommend this landlord enough.

I lived here from 2017-2018 and it was a great house. Had everything we needed, in a really convenient place for getting the buses to uni and to town. Handy for nipping to the local shops too (literally 10 seconds away from them!) Chris and Jacqui are great landlords, they really look after the place and if we had any issues they were dealt with straight away. They clearly care about their property and their tenants and I would not hesitate to rent with them again. The only reason we moved out of 1 Golgotha was group dynamics changing within the tenants, otherwise we would have stayed! We even asked Chris and Jacqui what other properties they had up for renting, we got on with them as landlords so well. The pictures shown are accurate and up to date, it really is a great house.
