Great location but.. Not the cleanest apartment (there's roaches in the building). No proper ventilation in rooms. I got stolen my bike and some accessories from bike parking inside the building while living there. Not a single help or concerns from people who's responsible for building.

If I could give this place one star, I would. This accommodation is run by egotistical managers who act as though they are above the tenants. They never offer help, nor do they try to understand the tenants’ problems. On top of that, their behavior is extremely rude. First, it was Binh, and now it’s this guy named Kabelo along with his sidekick Ana. I’m genuinely relieved I left before things got worse, and I even convinced five of my friends not to move in. To those who are still stuck living there—may you have the strength to endure

Rude staff who overcharge you. Apartment was extremely dirty when I moved in. The pub next door will keep you awake all night over the weekend. If your room is near the lift it will also wake you up at all times of the night. Room becomes hotter than a sauna in summer time so you cannot sleep. Kitchen sink tap would leak and soak half of the carpet, shower head tap barely worked. Pretty sure a prison cell is bigger & cleaner than your room. Way too expensive for what you get - not worth it! *Update in response: Your information is incorrect. I can confirm from my signed residential tenancy agreement and bond lodgement that the agent/landlord was UniLodge on Campus for 4/9 Earl Street, Carlton.

Terrible cockroach infestation at the SHA building. I keep my unit extremely clean (wiping and washing up immediately after every meal, storing food in airtight containers, vacuuming daily, hell I even wipe up all the water droplets after washing or showering), yet they still keep coming even during the day. Lots of little ones all the time, but a few big ones too, its super gross. The laundromat is also infested and if you use it at night, you can see the ground move when first entering. If you complain, they send out pest control who spray your until a little bit but it ultimately does nothing as the infestation is building wide, yet nothing much is being done in that regard. Highly recommend you stay away from this place if you value your sanity and being able to sleep well at night.

I've had a great time living at Unilodge because the rooms are good for a single person to stay and has a great location because RMIT is a 2 minute walk and CBD is right next door. Raj and Bin have been amazing at solving issues and are helpful with any issues you might face. It was a great experience living here.
