What if I want to cancel my booking?

Our full termination policy is within your online account. You can cancel your tenancy agreement for up to 7 days after the date of your booking (the Initial Cancellation Period). We will refund the full security deposit. Please note, £20 will be deducted from the refunded amount to cover any international bank charges for deposit refunds made to non-UK banks. If you wish to cancel your tenancy agreement after the initial cancellation period or after your tenancy has started, you will be responsible for paying the rent and any applicable fees for the full tenancy period. However, if you find a replacement tenant who is approved by the landlord and has paid both the deposit and rent, your liability will be limited to the time until the replacement tenant takes over payment. The tenancy termination will only be confirmed once the replacement tenant has completed these payments. If a replacement tenant is found, there will be a £50 fee for updating the contract, which you’ll need to pay within 14 days or it will be taken from your deposit. Once the new tenancy begins, the landlord will release you from your tenancy agreement.

Do I have to pay a booking fee?

Prestige Student Living do not charge a booking fee. When you accept your room offer, you’ll be asked to pay a deposit to secure your room which is secured with a deposit protection service and refunded at the end of your tenancy.

Is there 24/7 security?

Yes, your safety and security are our top priorities. Every building within our accommodation has a secure entry system to ensure that only authorised residents and staff can gain access. This system includes electronic key fobs or codes that are unique to each resident, enhancing the overall security of the accommodation. In addition to the secure entry system, we provide all residents with a 24-hour contact number. This number is available at any time, day or night, for residents to call if they have any concerns about their safety or security. Our dedicated onsite team is always on standby to respond promptly to any issues that may arise, ensuring that help is available whenever it is needed.

The Foundry has been my favourite accomodation to stay during my time at university. The staff are wonderful and kind. They are thoughtful and give free breakfast during exam season. As a healthcare student, it is close to the hospital which is convenient. The accommodation also has a range of amenities which enhances the student experience and offers great value for money. If you are student coming to Leeds, the Foundry is the place to be🫶🏾

The foundry is a very good accommodation - - spacious rooms with lots of storage, large modern kitchens with a TV, helpful and friendly staff and security. I have stayed here for 2 years and would recommend to anyone looking for somewhere close to university and town to stay, also walkable distance to aldi/asda supermarket! :)

Good rooms and good maintenance, stuff handled fast. Good quiet accomodation. On floor eight and never had to deal with any noise from parties or stuff on my floor, perfect for me and people wanting a quiet uni life Booked to stay another year and hoping for another quiet year.
