UQ was my first ever private accommodation and was a relatively easy process, especially for students who is new to this. Overall its a great place to live and for thr most part enjoyed my time living here. Its a very spacious flat, kitchen is lovely and a good social space. Plenty of storage space for everyone and easy to clean up. The room is good and spacious too. I really liked the layout and it was easy enough to feel like home. Although i had posters in my room and wish blue-tac didnt dtain the walls, especially since i didnt realise they would. UQ were consistent with appliance testing and sort issues relatively quickly, and were reachable through the app, emails and phone. However, i did have consistent problems with my shower since having to wait more than an hour and sometimes all day for it to even turn on and the WiFi for the most part was good until recently and has been pretty bad and had to be turned off and reset on multiple occasions. The laundry room was good and was nice to not have to use communal washing machines and dryers.

University Quarter was the very first accommodation I stayed in the UK, and honestly, it set the bar incredibly high. The experience was genuinely delightful from start to finish. The living room and kitchen were spacious, well-designed, and perfect for both relaxing and socialising. My room was stunning, comfortable, bright, and felt like a proper home rather than just student housing. What really stood out was the practicality: ample parking made life much easier, the cleaning facilities were reliable and well-managed, and the maintenance team was exceptionally prompt and professional whenever something needed attention. Everything just worked smoothly, which is rare and hugely underrated. Looking back, it’s one of those places that makes you miss Hull a little, and University Quarter even more. Jason from University Quarter's maintenance team was absolutely fantastic! He responded quickly to my request and resolved the electrical issue efficiently and professionally. His work was top-notch, and he made sure everything was safe and fully functional before leaving. Excellent service—reliable, friendly, and skilled. Highly recommended!

I stayed in Malthouse Court, Preston for just under 20 months. The accommodation is well located, within less than 10 min walk to the main UCLan campus, as well as about 20 min to Preston City Centre. It has a large gated car park, charged at a reasonable price, which is very useful should you commute. The actually flat is nice, has all the required necessities. Rooms varied by size, but mine was a medium-size but was very spacious and comfortable to live and work in. The accommodation team’s office is also about a 10 min walk away; they are incredibly helpful and have always responded promptly to any issues we raised via email. They are very reasonable and professional. University Quarter also cater for graduates, as we were. They really were very flexible for accommodating us, and the location is ideal for our graduate job located in Warton. I highly recommend University Quarter, following my positive experience with them!

Living with UQ has been the best! Fell in love with our shared house and I am really going to miss it. My room was lovely and clean when I first moved in, the weekly cleaners Nicky and Katy are amazing at what they do for us. The maintenance team are friendly and go above and beyond to fix any problems. I really can't fault them.

Very affordable accommodation, lovely team. House was very lovely to live in for the past 2yrs. Cheaper than on campus living. Fairly quick response times when in need of the 24hr maintenance team. Can’t fault UQ
