Issue 1) All Kitchens here made nearly unusable about a month ago when management wanted to save on their energy bill so made it that all appliances in the kitchen turn off every 5 mins (timed not exaggerated), even when a key card is in the power switch. Do you want to make something that usually takes half an hour? Now it takes an hour because you have to turn on and reset the heating functions of everything in the kitchen all the time. Issue 2) Since moving in, many of the residents here have been having foul smells coming up through the shower drain, mine personally has been unbearable and I was just told to make sure the shower drain was always wet Despite numerous complaints about these two issues, they have been ignored. I am hoping they might actually care if one of us leave a review.

Do not waste your money on this “luxury” accommodation! The quality is far below what I expected given the price (I paid around £11,500 for the year). Upon first moving into my room there were already a few issues, the room was far from clean with dead fruit flies littered about all over the place including in the fridge and cupboards which they insisted they had thoroughly cleaned. The bedsheets and pillowcases also had stains on them, and I was informed that there were no replacements so from then on, I opted to use my own as I couldn’t trust them to clean it properly. My TV didn’t work, my freezer door wouldn’t shut properly, and I didn’t even have a sofa at first. My blinds also broke several times. I asked for them to repair it which they said they would do whilst I was at university during the day. Upon my return I discover my room in complete disarray with the sofa turned upside down and bits of drywall everywhere, at least it was fixed. The rooms are also incredibly impractical as the lights turn off automatically and are set off by a sensor which meant that whenever I would take a shower the lights would turn off and I would have to open the shower cubicle and wave my arm around to get it to turn back on. This was also an issue with the desk and kitchen lights when I slept, if you move too much the lights will turn on and you have to wait for them to turn off again unless you remove the keycard but doing so will prevent any plugged-in devices from being charged. Incredibly inconvenient! Being the second most expensive room, I expected the diamond room to be better than others but instead I was on the ground floor right underneath the reception and the stairs and so it was always incredibly noisy even at night. There was excessive noise most nights from loud music and shouting from other residents in the lobby, despite the fact that supposedly no noise was allowed after 11pm. There was even an incident where a member of staff fell into a hole right outside my window and so for the following few weeks builders were outside my window doing construction work which caused a major disturbance when trying to do work or sleep. This was in contrast to my friends who had paid for cheaper rooms but did not encounter any of these issues. It is important to mention that when I had visited the premises prior to booking my room, I was shown a room on the top floor by a member of staff and was told it was a diamond room when it in fact was not and so I booked my room based on false information. There was also an incident where the hot water in the whole building was cut off for a week meaning that everyone had to take cold showers, this was not ideal as I had a guest visiting at that time, not to mention that taking cold showers is not particularly pleasant. Lastly, the lift is usually out of order so good luck if you’re trying to move a lot of luggage to a higher floor. What I’ve listed above is not even everything but expect this and more when moving into study inn. I regret giving my money to this establishment. A complete rip-off, I do not recommend!

I’ve really enjoyed living at Walnut Garden. The apartment is fully equipped — kitchenware, bedding, and towels are all provided. There’s daily cleaning for the kitchen and trash, and room cleaning every two weeks, which makes life super easy. The 24-hour reception is always staffed and very helpful. The building also has great facilities like a gym, pool table, gaming room, study rooms, sauna, shower rooms, tanning room, and a clean, reasonably priced laundry room. They also host lots of fun community events. Overall, a very convenient, clean, and friendly place to live. Highly recommend!

This is an outstanding apartment! The environment is incredibly beautiful. With a 24-hour front desk, I can always find friendly staff ready to assist me, no matter when I go there. The cleaning ladies are extremely helpful. They clean the kitchen and take out the trash for us every day, and they also offer a comprehensive cleaning service once every two weeks. The apartment's facilities are top-notch. There is a complete set of fitness equipment, allowing me to do both aerobic and anaerobic exercises. The entertainment amenities are equally impressive, including arcade machines, a billiards table, and a ping pong table. What’s more, you can borrow ping pong balls and paddles from the front desk free of charge. The apartment also comes with a sauna and a laundry room. The sauna is easy to operate, so I can use it whenever I want. It’s truly convenient!
