Cork Street Residence, dublin

We stayed here as a group of four over the summer break and had a fantastic experience. We were all impressed by the spacious communal areas and the generous-sized bedrooms. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the bathrooms were spotless. Nothing was ever too much trouble for the reception team—they were always friendly, welcoming, and happy to help. The location was excellent, making it easy to explore Dublin and all the city has to offer. The accommodation felt safe and secure, with helpful staff who really made us feel welcome. It was the perfect alternative to the high-priced hotels in Dublin, offering great value without compromising on comfort or quality. We would definitely stay here again.

Student accommodation that turns into a hotel during the summer ☀️ PROS: The place is well located and very well equipped: because it's a student housing, you have great common areas for both chilling and working. The experience team and staff at location is friendly and professional, and the complementary free coffee in the mornings is great. The room is comfortable, and for summer in Dublin a great price for a private toilet. Can't get cheaper than this. CONS: 1. I think the management team needs to acknowledge that if you advertise this in the summer as hotel, it should work like a hotel: the room doesn't even have a bin, or a toilet brush. There is no cleaning or changing towels even after a week, which beyond ridiculous I think it's borderlone unhygienic. 2. The place is quite noisy, within the room is okey but the quiet hours are absolutely not respected. My room was facing the courtyard and there were students (or guests) well making noise until 2 am. This really needs to be reinforced or else just don't advertise that. 3. All doors are fire escape doors and they are incredibly noisy. Please make sure to empower and inform guests to be more gentle with the doors because it was like a quite a scare every time someone came in or out. 4. The bed is quite uncomfortable in itself but since it was summer and not extremely hot (I heard avoid top floor), I took the duvet out and used it as an extra cover for the mattress. Then the duvet cover for sleeping and with the window closed that solved both the noise and the mattress discomfort. Thank me later 😂

I wanted to gif an 8 star I had a wonderful stay here during my first visit to Dublin. The room was spotless, clean, and very comfortable, which I really appreciated. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and their kindness made my stay even more enjoyable. I also received a lovely surprise with breakfast at Fogg Café, which was a very thoughtful gesture. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Dublin.

New, nice, clean - and just half an hour from the centre on foot ( it takes about the same time on the bus 🙃). I would bring my own towels, though - just one was provided: it was brand new, stickers and price tag still attached - had not been through a wash; the other (in another room) did not abound in an appealing smell, to put it nicely. Bedding was nice and clean, so was the bathroom. Otherwise, nice communal kitchen and space to eat/relax on a sofa, shared fridge (all just for 8ppl). Stove+pots&pans+cutlery+crockery were provided and ok; no peeler or a sharp knife, though - the two-week stay made me miss those a bit. Dishwasher at hand - that was very nice! 😁 Places to hang out with other students in the lobby/in the gym or outside/playing table tennis when the weather's nice.

I arrived for a multiple week booking to find the room had none of the amenities listed on the Booking.com page. I immediately checked out and filed for a refund, but the company managing the property has refused to issue it. I don't recommend anyone books here, unless you enjoy being scammed. Don't risk it.
