This dormitory is really good and really bad at the same time. Let me explain: They have a small gym with the basic equipment, a cinema room, a music room, two tabletennis plates (one in- and one outdoor), two small bowling alleys, good Wifi, a big Laundry room (so you never have to wait for one to be free), sometimes they even offer free food in the lobby and the people who work here are very nice. Furthermore, the location is also good, you are quickly in the city center by foot and there are some stores and restaurants nearby. The neighborhood is not really beautiful though. On the other hand, many of the facilities are a little bit worn out and not well maintained, for instance the billiard table and especially the rooms. My room was kinda dirty when I arrived and the bathroom wasn't cleaned at all (there were also some leftovers in the toilette 🤢). You have your own room with your own bathroom (shower, toilette, sink). The mattress I slept on was really uncomfortable, but there is a lot of space to store stuff and you have a big desk. They provide a towel and one set of bedclothes. You share the kitchen, the livingroom with couches, TV and a balcony with 5-7 other people. It really depends, how those behave. Mine weren't really clean and sometimes a bit too noisy. There are also some parties in the yard which can be very loud. To me personally that wasn't a big issue because I always bring earplugs but be aware of that. Another issue everyone in my flat had was that were was constantly water leaking from the floor into the apartment if you stepped in the wrong corner. It wasn't much though but it was a bit annoying and I don't understand why the management weren't doing anything about it. In total I stayed here for four weeks to participate in a language school. For the accommodation I payed 1332 € in total for the whole time. I guess for Dublin that is okay. To wash and dry your clothes once you have to pay 6,7 €.

Good student accommodation. Rooms big enough for a person. Own bathroom, which is important. The shared kitchen is also good. All the appliances you need in there. Very near from the city centre. Just 20 minutes walk or a few minutes with the bus, which is only 2 minutes from the building. Laundry on site. If you want to have fun with friends you have bowling, cinema and music room. They have gym too. Staff nice and helpful. Someone is always at reception to help with anything.

Facilities are really nice and always clean. But the best thing is the staff, especially the morning team. They are very friendly and always willing to help.Yoni especially, he was always smiling and helping. Made my stay very nice! I recommend Ardcairn House to everyone🥰

Had a great stay, but it would be nice if the accommodation team gave an orientation on how the app works because I had to figure out most of it's features on my own. Also you need to be used to sharing a kitchen and chores, otherwise you will not mingle properly with the other flat mates and feel there is always tension.

Its good location, but water system (when somebody uses it in rooms) making sounds as someone screaming. It was funny, but disturbing sleep. And "The towels shed terribly, and after drying off, everything was covered in lint.
