After the management change in December 2025, the new management, has been very disappointing and unprofessional in my experience. It is extremely difficult to contact them during daytime hours, even by phone. (I have call logs showing multiple unanswered calls.) Emails also often go unanswered. I sent several emails requesting the agent's reference, but the contact person, they did not respond. Good luck if you have an emergency!!! After I moved out, I was informed that my bond refund was being processed. However, after waiting for nearly two months with no progress, I contacted the RTA directly to check the status. I was then informed that the new management had not lodged any bond refund request at all.!!! So all this time, they have been lying to me, saying it is still processing. According to the RTA, tenants can submit a direct bond refund request soon after moving out, and the process generally takes only 5–7 business days. As an international student, I didn't know this. I would strongly advise current tenants to review the RTA process themselves rather than relying solely on the agency. More information can be found in the RTA web site. Even if you manage to recover your bond through RTA, they will never return your car park deposit. It's been 3 months since I moved out, but still, I haven't received any feedback from them. See how many times I tried to reach these people. If you read the latest reviews, and you will realize how bad the current management is. Very disappointing. Not recommended at all!

I’ve had a really positive experience living at Genesis 1 Student Accommodation, especially since the new management has taken over. There’s been a noticeable improvement in the overall atmosphere and upkeep of the property. The pool area looks so much better now—it’s clearly been well-maintained and is a great spot to relax. On top of that, the entire building feels much cleaner and more cared for than before, which makes a big difference day to day. A special mention to the building manager, who is approachable, helpful, and clearly committed to making this a better place for residents. Overall, I’m really happy with the changes and would definitely recommend Genesis 1 to other students looking for a comfortable and well-managed place to live.

4 stars because of the management else I would give it a 2. Kudos to Jason and the management they helped me out with moving out as well as communication. It's true that the apartments are not owned by management they just take care of it, and which was done amazingly by this new management. It's way cleaner, managed and reliant communication. They are a flexible and understanding management I feel, for me I really want to thank and appreciate Jason for his hardwork out in the sun 🌞

Unfortunately, my experience with the management has been extremely disappointing. There have been many other negative experiences during my stay, but I can only share so much here. Overall, the management rarely responds to requests, even when the matter is urgent. On several occasions, the office was closed during posted office hours, making it very difficult to get assistance. I decided to leave the accommodation due to these ongoing management issues, believing that would resolve my concerns. However, more than two months after moving out, my bond refund has still not been processed. Despite sending multiple emails, I have not received any response. When I tried calling instead, the staff were unhelpful and at times rude. Rather than offering a clear explanation or an apology for the delay, I was repeatedly told, “I will tell my colleague about your concern,” which did not resolve the issue or provide any clarity. This lack of communication and accountability has been incredibly frustrating. Overall, the management demonstrates a serious lack of customer service and urgency in handling tenant concerns. Very disappointing. Not recommended at all!

I have lived here for over 2 years and I'm staying 🙂. As long as you get good housemates it's an incredibly quiet, peaceful and safe place to live. It's perfect for uni students because you can study in peace 💕The management team are always happy to help you. Please note while looking at old reviews that Genesis One is recently under new ownership and management.
