Lovely place to stay, fair price especially being so close to the city centre. Communal areas were clean, staff friendly, plenty of lovely food choices around the area, overall no complaints and would recommend to anyone wanting to explore the beautiful city of Dublin!

A blonde woman, her arm covered in tattoos and with a Portuguese accent, was incredibly rude when we went to ask her to show us a room we'd already visited three times. I asked for photos, and she responded so rudely. My friend, who's been twice, told me she'd been treated the same way. She's so ill-mannered and doesn't know anything about customer service. I didn't yell or insult her, so why would she treat me so disrespectfully? Someone needs to give her a customer service course. Rude, ill-mannered, and arrogant. Perhaps they won't respond because this kind of woman is responding rudely when she's not in control of something. It's not called character, it's called temperament, and someone who can't control it shouldn't even consider working in customer service. She didn't even apologize. Rude.

Let’s start with the positives: free water fountain, nice outdoor garden area with ping pong tables, and friendly staff. The location is good, you can reach the city center in less than 10 minutes. Rooms: small but functional. There’s a queen-size bed whether you book a single or a double room, but it might be too small for two people. Cleaning needs improvement: the hallways were very dirty, mine was full of dust, and there was even a lump of hair rolling around. The room was cleaner than the hallway, but still not great: my toilet seat wasn’t clean, there was hair on the bed, and the shower drain was a bit clogged. No air conditioning. When we checked in at 4pm the curtain had been left open and the room was extremely hot. To keep the temperature bearable you really need to keep the curtain closed during the day. If you do this you don’t need AC. Other notes: we were given only one towel, which wasn’t enough for a 4-day stay, and we had to ask for another one. In my room there wasn’t even a trash bin, so I had to share the one in my parents’ room next door. Overall: not worth the price. I was there for a concert, so prices were probably higher than usual during those days.

These student dorms operate as a “hotel” during the summer — I paid nearly €400 for two nights, and the experience was extremely disappointing. The shower was clogged with hair, there was no bin in the room, and the mattress was awful — so soft that when you sat down, you could feel the wooden base underneath. The bathroom was tiny, with barely enough space for one person, let alone two. There was no air conditioning, and the room was unbearably hot. Even considering that the city was busy that weekend (several events were happening during our stay), charging €200 per night for a small, student-style room is just unacceptable. It felt like a complete rip-off

This is student accommodation that they rent out to travellers during holiday periods. It is cheap for a reason but adequate for the price. Rooms are very small as are the beds (I was solo and would not have wanted to share). Wasn't super clean but when I asked reception to clean the shower drain they did promptly. The bathroom has an annoying sensor light that comes on whenever you enter and doesn't turn off for ages (even at night). My room got quite hot and stuffy during the night in summer. It was ok with the window open but the main road and surrounding pubs were a bit noisy so I had to close it when I slept. I didn't use the shared kitchen except to fill up water bottles but it didn't look super clean. The location is quite central and easy walking distance to the city centre and many pubs. I was comfortable enough for a few nights and saved a heap of money compared to other places during what was a busy weekend. But wouldn't have an extended stay here.
