Less than a 15 minute walk from the UCC campus, Broga House is a former shoe factory newly converted into accommodation for over 200 students each year with a wide range of fully-furnished rooms, all with their own ensuite. Open to all third-level students, plus there’s no lottery, so you can secure your room online right now. Broga House has over 200 rooms, enabling you to tailor your student experience to your individual needs and choose the perfect room for you. All rooms at Broga House come with your own ensuite bathroom, so you don’t need to worry about queues in the morning or who’s turn it is to clean it! Our new accommodation has a variety of ensuite room types with a shared kitchen and living room for those who enjoy living with others, as well as ensuite Studio rooms with fully-equipped kitchenettes for those who prefer their own space. Very bad experience! Reception is so bad with us as a tourist. They gave us a room that was not cleaned! We found some used towel in the shower, the bin in the room was full and the duvet of the bed was not organised or even not being changed. The room are very small without small fridge or tv and also we are not allowed to use other utilities in the accommodation like kitchen or the gym, such a terrible bad experience…. We would never come back agin to this student accommodation. Kitchen only for students is joke haha

Broga House Cork was an excellent choice. Located within walking distance of so much the city has to offer, and easy access to buses that go to the rest of County Cork. The staff were friendly, helpful, and responsive to requests. Would recommend.

We have laundry rooms in all our Nidos. You’ll have 24-hour access to washers; dryers and some sites will have ironing boards available. Prices for a wash and dry can be found in your Welcome Book which you’ll receive upon checking-in. For any other questions on laundry, speak to the team as they’ll be happy to help.
Yes, we have high speed Wi-Fi throughout each Nido so you can be connected at all times. More information on how to connect will be provided upon your arrival and this is included in your rent, so you do not need to pay for it.
Our communal spaces are residence-specific, so please check the relevant residence page on our website to see what spaces it includes. In the majority of our Nido’s you will have access to an on-site gym which is free to use, as well as comfortable social and study spaces. In some of our newer Nido’s you can also find private dining rooms that you can book out with friends for dinner parties; gaming rooms with projector screens, and lastly cinema rooms complete with plenty of comfortable seating and surround sound.
Yes, a refundable security deposit of €300 is payable. This will be refunded at the end of your stay after checking for damages.
